Agreed I think it was because, for once, the ref got it right and didn't take the easy option, especially with BZ involved as he's been very fortunate on other occasions when crashes have occurred.

There cannot be many better places to watch Speedway racing than the entrance to bend three at the NSS....

The speed they hit it, and your close proximity to the racing, means you can truly appreciate the talents and reactions of these lads...

So many races are won and lost at that turn, either by a dive bomb or the outside rider cutting off the rider flying up the inside...

Stood on the 3rd bend for the 1st time  normally stood just coming off bend 2, and wow some of the moves/cut backs going into their,  just wow especially at the speed they were going   then how much speed does bartoz have 🤔 unreal.  Hoping for the same tonight,  currently having a beer in city centre   but unlike Cardiff haven't seen any speedway fans

Or if you have a huge screen like I do, or phone or second device, use the baahnsport site as they have a racecard which is promptly updated, no need for doing the detailed work yourself.

I got a good start and immediately accelerated from the line. However, I didn't manage to gain enough speed to overtake Max Fricke, who was heading straight for the fence from the A grid. That's the nature of this track. Whoever reaches the barrier first, goes ahead," said a disgruntled Bartosz Zmarzlik.

 

His irritation wasn't primarily due to his fall in the final.

The source of Zmarzlik's nerves was entirely different. The Pole had spent almost the entire day at the Manchester stadium. Just being there for so many hours can be exhausting. The irritation peaked when Zmarzlik was constantly approached by people who shouldn't be doing so. We've learned unofficially that even security asked our champion for photos and autographs when he should have been fully focused on the competition. This is outrageous behavior that doesn't happen at other stadiums. And while it may seem pleasant, speedway is a sport that requires complete concentration both during the competition and immediately before it begins. At such moments, any distractions are inadvisable.

cant fault that statement, apart from the part where he says its the nature of the track, that situation was the nature of the weather.
