It was Madsens, he realised and returned to his bike to sort it out before sitting back down on the track

mikebv
A fantastic evening of Speedway... Hair trigger decisions being made in almost every race from front to back.. Cost me £142 for me and my lad, What is that cliché? Worth the admission alone? Many of them were... Let's hope for more of the same tomorrow...

Madsen's bike was full revving on it's side, he got up to turn it off, then collapsed to all fours. Woryna was a liability to others most of tonight. I did suggest last year that they could have an extra incentive on Friday’s meeting by the finishing positions determining the draw pick for Saturday. In their wisdom they choose the ballot route. 2

It’s plainly obvious the FIM have the same standards setting the rules as the BSPL, it’s never very easy is it.

teijahn
I'm 10,000 miles from Manchester and like you all no doubt, am hoping that a good racing surface can prevail over the weather. Alexa reckons its raining there now, but the hourly forecast I saw is for chances of rain to reduce from currently 90% to 50-60% rest of day and suggest maybe light showers throughout the day clearing around meeting start time. Not that I'd wager the family jewels on a weather forecast, but here's hoping we get to race on a reasonable surface.
ShanoXtra
I like Woryna and he brings something new to the series, always tries his best, sometimes he just pushes it too far, he is like the next level of Doyley 😂 On a serious note, and not to bring this up just for the sake of it, but that crash wasn’t too dissimilar to when he went into the back of young Krystian Rampałan and he died back in 2016. I hope he isn’t risking too much again for entertainment as we all want to see people fit and healthy at the end of the night! - Although I want to also add for Woryna that it was found that the young gentleman didn’t have his helmet correctly strapped and this was ultimately the cause of his death. I guess you can see many of these crashes throughout a season and nothing serious happens but it was just unfortunate! mikebv
I like the 90 seconds, rather than the two minute warning... It keeps the action going at a good pace..... One race over, and bikes on track for the next one almost immediately...

He is superb. would he of won those titles in an era containing prime Rickardsson, Crump, Pedersen? I'm not sure. Tracks back then were nowhere near as good as they are now preparation wise. You say good, I say smooth and slick (NSS excepted). Edited June 6 by SPEEDY69

It just seemed a bit flat without him. Must admit the atmosphere did seem very flat for a GP or thats at least how it came across on tv. Found it really difficult to get into the meeting to be honest and I've seen much better meetings at Belle Vue than that. Hopefully tonight will be better.
