I was a Director at Birmingham for a brief period as part of the new consortium which took over for the 2022 season, and my involvement was mainly centred around helping ensure they were in a position to run that year, because there was a huge amount of work to be done that winter for them to get to that stage. My resignation was due to a significant change in work circumstances in April 2022 which, in my view, meant there could have been a perceived conflict of interest had I remained directly associated with one club at a Director level, although there was no pressure applied from any direction before I took that decision.

No need for an explanation, I just didn't expect to see your name on there... as a sports journalist though... what's going on at Northampton Speedway with their "owners" and why the big cover up with people sworn to secrecy?

I would guess that Mark Lemon is a nominee and not the beneficial owners.

The beneficial owners are probably the BSPL or some subsets of its membership, possibly in conjunction with the Speedway Futures crowd.

Yes it does, and he's the only one with 1 share at £1.

Incorporation statement... it may of course have changed since.

How intriguing, thank you

happened many times over the years...whether it is a sponsor, owner, owners that have put riders up etc etc...fans always put two and two together and end up with five!

 Cannot see a problem myself.

In a Mickey Mouse sports entertainment business it doesn't make a jot of difference, it is maybe beneficial... but in a professional competitive sport wanting to attract TV coverage and the betting industry it really does (should) matter.

If people want to hide their identity in a public environment it's usually for a reason, I don't think it's too much to wonder what that reason is 🤔

Being a Director doesn't necessarily mean that person is a shareholder.

When i looked at Companies House info a few weeks ago, Lemon was the only named director.

But does the CH info disclose shareholders? Not to my knowledge, but you could have access to greater depth info??

I tend to think that shareholder identities are usually hidden information, a private matter unless disclosed by the shareholder publicly?

try persons with significant control!!! its not difficult to find!

Thus far the company has one share which is held by Mark Lemon!

Nothing is hidden - perhaps its hiding in plain sight!!
