Kings Lynn vs Ipswich KOC April 13th 7.30pm

So a 10 point lead for the Witches to defend for what could be a crucial aggregate point. Will we hold on? Lawson, King, Musielak and Brennan can all win races here and the reserves SHOULD at least keep us competitive. 
 

Wouldn’t bet against a similar score to last night but the other way around. Could be tight for the aggregate point.

One thing is for sure, Lynn need to collectively get out of the gate all lot better than they did last night.

I think ten will be a little too much to claw back this early in the season, so I think it'll be a small Lynn victory.

If the track is grippy then it should suit PHB down to the ground.

Brennan, Lawson, Musielak and King can all win races around the AFA so Paco and the King's Lynn reserves will have to come to the party.

I think this meeting is very difficult to predict on the night, I'll go with a King's Lynn victory in a tight meeting but Ipswich could easily win again if one of King's Lynn's Top 4 has an off night.

I agree with this totally! If one of Harris, Kvech, Cook has an off night then I see a small Witches victory 🤷🏻‍♂️ around the 44-46/43-47 mark

I know it’s easy to say but I’d have gone for Sedgmen or Kerr over Castagna and probably Mulford over Scott… but what do I know? 😂 trust the process haha

Castagna is and was my biggest worry when he signed for the new season.Have to give him a bit of time though.If he don't improve then Kerr would be a good option, especially at home.

Quite happy with Scott,he's only young like Rushen so just needs time imo.

You don’t win things by going with two rising stars at reserve, you just don’t. Lynn have got their strategy all wrong here, again. 
 

No issue with signing Fricke, although saddled with such a high average in a league that reduced it total team building average obviously comes with issues in building the rest of the team, but they needed to be far smarter. 
 

They should have left out one of Harris, Cook or Kvech and gone for a couple of 4-5 pointers giving them a bit more scoring power and experience in the senior reserve position.

They won’t win a bean with this team.

I think I got 50-40 right first time around, this time I can't see Fricke dropping points

Going 48-42 to Witches, Lynn top 4 will score 36 between them and the tail might muster 6

Ipswich have a lot of firepower lower end, for me always difficult if you start off as the home team with a 3-3 followed by a 1-5 which i think we'll see alot of for Lynn

Stand corrected! Had more experience than the two here though. Point still stands, they should have picked one of them and gone for a more experienced number 6. Those two along with Castagna  gives them far too long a tail.

Will be interesting to see if Rob goes with B Cook at no. 2 again. It was obviously used to get 5-1’s with Max (2/3 success rate) and for him to comfortably win heat 8 (scored 0) but realistically should go with Castagna at 2 at home. 

The same as Thursday this meeting depends a lot on Musielak. He could score 15 but at the same time could score 5. As a Lynn fan I’m hoping for and predicting the latter. 

Going for a Lynn win and optimistic that they can sneak the aggregate point. 51-39.

Think they’ll start off with a 5-1 this time though if they go with Cook at two again. 
 

We should be getting a heat advantage of some sort in heat two though.

Have to see how Lawson is too. Apparently had a big off at Scunny last night, limped back to pits then ran a last in his last ride. He’s started the season with a couple of big crashes already and he’s now at an age where these things take a little longer to get over! He’ll be important for us here. 
 

Probably matters little in terms of actually winning the Cup. The winners will almost certainly come from the other group IMO.

And in the same breath I’d be disappointed if our top 4 don’t score 42-45 combined, they’re more than capable, especially at home against anyone.

Exactly one experienced reserve needs to be had. Can’t believe the mentality who chose to build it that way
