Outgated in nearly every heat says it all. Congrats to Oxford who were better on the night. Pleasing to see CR and WC getting stuck in. Tracks same for both teams so you have to adapt accordingly.

Fantastic job by Wood. He was very consistent for Berwick last year. Hopefully he is making another step forward this year. Definitely wouldn’t have minded him being back a Berwick this year.

You might need to pit some dirt down now we've perfected gate and go and sticking to the blue groove. You might catch us out. But I doubt it.

A lot of criticism from Poole fans for the track tonight and.... they are right. It was awful. 

There was a lot speculation about how equipment/tractors, etc. had been removed over the past week, but reckon some must have missed the huge lorry load of shale that was clearly taken away. That said, it was the same for both teams, and Poole should be used to that sort of surface.

If Erik had been available, it would have been a hammering.
