I don't think a rider can miss a match due to riding abroad & then not ride abroad, so surely it'd have to count as an injury causing him to miss the Poole match?

Unless he was signed off on monday by the medics, surely it becomes a non speedway injury, or illness

I think Berwick will be the happier of the 2 teams, but would still fancy Poole to progress if they had a full strength team at Berwick.

I'm a bit surprised Poole have stuck with Bowes for so long, normally quick to make changes.

But Poole won't have a full strength team  definitely no cairns, no bowes, but won't be missed, and probably no lawson 😲 batch has pulled out of the Memorial meeting at worky on Saturday,  so maybe guesting for Poole 🤔

He is riding at Ipswich tonight so can't see how he was injured last night but ok tonight.

His Danish team may have just opted not to use him. We had a guest due to him being down to ride in Denmark, at no point has it been mentioned on any British website he was injured only by his Danish clubs site and it does not say what the injury is meant to be.

His Danish team replaced him due to injury.

I just know there's going to be somebody out there who can explain Cooper's exclusion from heat 14. As usual I was on the apex of 1&2, so had a good view, what I saw was both riders coming through the turns Cooper leading but was looking a little squirrely, Smith then caught him up through turn 2 causing Cooper to fall. It looked clear cut to me Yellow light.

Overall a frustrating watch last night, Bomber is inconsistent had a good night on Monday so guess he due a poor one.

Yes but not on any British site and it does not mention what the injury is. He was meant to ride for Danish team but did not due to injury but he is riding tonight so it must have been very minor to heal in a day or they decided not to use him and that is the excuse given.

I felt we had a bit of bad luck throughout the night, Kerr chain, Rushen exclusion but he should not have stopped in an earlier race when Morris clamped him. We missed Lawson badly, hope he is ok for the rest of the week.

Choice of guest a little surprising. Must have been an acute shortage of available candidates. Bomber admits he is not a gater which is so important at Poole, also usually a critic of track prep at Wimbourne Road ie too slick for him to gain up lost ground. Troy Batch may well have returned more points but that is also not a given. Good to see Berwick keep it tight and I think the momentum could well be with the Bandits now but you never know in Speedway, team circumstances and fine margins come to mind. Should be a good contest on a track where fast gating is also very important, who will have their gating gloves on ? .
