Shaleshifter
After a weeks break the Pirates return to action taking on the Berwick Bandits in the knockout Cup semi final. The Pirates will be without thier star no1 Richard Lawson who has a Danish league fixture as this meeting was not originally in the calendar. Chris Bomber Harris steps in for Richard. Berwick draft in another Glasgow tiger and ex bandit Leon Fint to cover for Peter Kildemand on Danish league duty. With the weather expected to be in the high 30's all day track prep will be extremely challenging. The Bandits have been on good form especially at home so this will be a tough 2 legged encounter. Thoughts?

Thoughts? Fraser Bowes is back at 2 partnering Bomber. I hope he is fit/rested enough to turn the bike effectively. I reckon it'll be close over 2 legs, especially with Glasgow away in between . Steve Shovlar
Forecast is giving 37C on Wednesday. Seriously too hot. And it’s only June. Track staff will have a thankless tast getting water down in the track. Be drying out ten minutes after they flood it.
Gavan
Poole have definitely got a better guest for Lawson than Berwick have for Kildemand Can see Poole winning this by 20 Etheridge and Jenkins got 1 between them last time at Poole and Palovaara got 8 from 6 Should be a walk in the park

Bitza
Harris going great for Kings Lynn, only lost one point to an opponent, 16 +1 from 6 rides, just need to do it again on Wednesday. Rushen, Zac and Cairns also all had a great night, Lawson seems to have had a tougher time of it. In fact now I've thought about it, a message to those who are forever claiming that the Premiership is some kind of elite league. Check out this evenings results and please explain your argument?!*:?? Edited June 22 by Bitza

Check out this evenings results and please explain your argument?!*:?? This argument again! Elite = the best or most highly skilled. Whether you think its the most entertaining league or not, riders like Kurtz, Fricke, Kvech and Douglas (going by who was riding last night) are among the best who ride in the UK. It's a higher standard of rider than the Championship.
