His average this season at Foxhall was 7.11. Also, he single-handedly won the KO Cup for Leicester. I know there is a lot of controversy around Drew and there was a rift between the old management and him. I just think he has awesome raw talent and if someone could tell him to stop giving up when he's last he could be fantastic. Think his mindset will be a problem for Mayfield after the experience they've had with Lawson this season tbh.

TTT
A good chance of Rushen at Ipswich imo. King's Lynn can easily sign Jody Scott again to fill that role so I doubt Buster will get into a bidding war as he always operates on a budget. I don't think this rough guess of a prediction is unrealistic for the British U21 positions tbh. Belle Vue -> W. Cairns Ipswich -> C. Rushen King's Lynn -> J. Scott Leicester -> 2026 Team Member of the Lions Cubs? (F. Hodder, R. Ingram or M. Perry) Northampton and Sheffield -> L. Harrison and A. Pijper Newcomer to the League -> Whatever the other Clubs leave them with....V. Foord????

I don't think Lawson's mindset is like Kemp's. Lawson turned up late and cancelled at the last minute I don't think Drew has ever been accused of that. Honestly I think Drew runs on emotion probably too much sometimes but he is still young. I think his massive performance in the KO Cup final was to prove to Ipswich they should not have dropped him. He also performed quite well in both legs in the playoff semi when many of his team mates were crap in the first leg. He seems to ride well in big events. When he has a bad start to a meeting he lets that affect him and it means he ends up scoring very poorly. A change in that mindset especially with international level riders around coaching him would help massively.

If Mayfield retain him then that’ll be a red flag in my opinion and show that they don’t know how to wisely put a winning team together. Keep your eyes open for those flags.... Despite the large crowd there was a huge amount of waiting around for crashed cars to be cleared. However, the presentation made it feel like this was a proper event, it mattered. Even though it is a bunch of amateurs and the luckiest one who wins. The build up to the world final was impressive and the Witches need to do something similar for the start of their meetings imo. Glad you enjoyed your night out, but if you think it was purely down to luck who wins then you didn't fully understand what you were watching. 😉 To the uninitiated, cars may have been taken out of the race randomly, and sometimes they are, but there are also ongoing feuds and team battles that mean a fancied runner getting taken out by a mate of another fancied runner. I am not saying there isn't an element of luck involved, but the winners of the major events usually come from the same small pool of drivers. Bunch of amateurs yes, in terms of the fact it is a hobby and you can't make a living from it, but the standard of driving and car prep is far from amateur. Some of them are almost semi-pro when you look at the equipment they are using both on and off track. Race engines are costing upwards of £5k and some of the drivers are racing every weekend up and down the country, with multiple cars being built in fully fitted workshops.
