Full facility has been extended as Glasgow tried to sign a replacement for Kyle but availability for said riders was minimal
eric i
Any idea when playoffs might be staged? Fri 18th of September will be out of the question for Scunny as Pickering has a Polish league meeting. 11th will be 1st leg I assume and if Scunny want 2nd leg it would have to be 25th unless they run on Sunday 13th. The majority of fans are fed up with it and are walking away from speedway due to this lack of fixtures especially in the summer. We have had one of the best summer on record, but most teams have gone several weeks without home fixtures There will be well over 100 Guests used in the 2nd tier this season... So what not just run more Guestfests during those weeks they chose not to run meetings?... And many of those weeks had no FIM/FIM Europe clashes... Who actually pays the expenses for these jaunts? Does it come from the Team GB budget? All costs are covered by the rider and his family. The original fixture clashed with the qualifying round so would of still be unavailable. Its so disappointing as the boy wants to ride for his team.

Get the young riders need to get experience abroad and racing against European riders, but yet again British speedway fans suffer for this. British speedway doesn't suffer because young riders chose do do international meetings . Its because of the malaise at the top this date was published in November 2025 so why clashed with it. Also it is impossible to get from Glasgow to krsko in time to sign on . We looked at every avenue it can't be done.
Fromafar
Nothing new regarding Fixtures it's shambles again and getting worse every season. Teams should be forced to run on their reserved night if these clashes arise.Honestly don’t think would effect crowd levels significantly. It's more of most fans are fed up of the big gaps between fixtures so these events can be attended by UK and European riders, then fixtures are rescheduled and low and behold it's a guest fest . It's time them in charge of UK speedway ran without large gaps in the summer, guest fest or not
Colsimmo58
Its time the Promoters got their acts together, its been a fragmented season with teams going 3,4,5 weeks without a fixture. The hottest summer for ages and we cant fit in a few fixtures over this period. If this happens next year , only 1 Home,1 Away am done going to watch, its like a new season every time you go to a match with the fixtures spread out. If a Promoter cannot fit in 11 matches in 20 weeks of a season, there's a major problem with British Speedway.

It’s always a balls up at the end of season with riders and fixtures. The whole sport is a joke.
