  2. Will Redcar be without Jody Scott at Workington on Saturday? Jody is down to ride in the U19 Championship at Plymouth on Saturday, presuming that will get priority over a rearranged league fixture?
  3. Today
  4. Swedish final 1st leg Tuesday 15th September - Premier Sports - not live 11pm Premier Sports 2- maybe live on player ?? Dackarna v Vastervik Dackarna 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Vastervik 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
  5. It must of been ok because I was quite surprised how many of my customers who don’t follow the sport but know I do mentioned watching it to me
  6. Swedish GP needs a host as Måilla's contract ended this year and Västervik's contract doesn't start until 2028. in 2027 with Västervik hosting SWC and Lejonen hosting SEC the question is if there is room for a third event in Småland (if Målilla opts for another year) due the proximity of each other (even if Gislaved is a bit more further away) or if FIM/promoters sees it as doubt ful and opts for a more notthernly track (and if any of those tracks feels it's worth the risk of hosting a GP). https://www.eniro.se/kartor/vägbeskrivning?c=57.896083,14.553762&z=7.9&rs=57.301815,13.544383,Gislaved%2C%20Gislaved,218922950,geo;57.38915,15.815915,M%C3%A5lilla%2C%20Hultsfred,218923052,geo;57.75559,16.640535,V%C3%A4stervik%2C%20V%C3%A4stervik,218923089,geo
  7. I know how it works I’ve done it but I always rode in every meeting I was asked even if I was getting less money than my club money because I wanted to race my bike and rode in the hope I would win something which is my point, nobody seems to care about the prestige or the love anymore, it’s all about the money, I don’t blame the BSPL on this one, the sport is practically broke but riders just don’t seem to care
  8. I did quite a bit of digging and it was 134,000 which made it the 3rd best on ITV4 for that week. Trying to work out how good that is? For context it would've been 6th on Sky Sports for that week however there was no Premier League football. It did beat most hundred cricket matches though.

  10. He rode like this couple of years ago and then seemed to calm down and knock in some good scores ,I have often noticed that riders coming to the end of their time seem to come off more than they did .Think his GP days are all but over and hope he can do a couple of more years in the leagues ,time catches up with all of us eventually unfortunately .
  11. That’s a bit over dramatic. There was a very entertaining meeting there only last week against Sheffield. It doesn’t throw up consistently good racing like the NSS of course it doesn’t, but I’d love to see something a bit different and see how the GP boys handle the circuit. Rather than have all tracks of a similar size and style, there should be more variation of styles IMO to find the ultimate rider at the end of the year.
  12. A bit to do with the track... more like lot's to do with the track it's an absolute disgrace at the minute, has been bad for years. Just move it back to Cardiff where you know you'll be guarenteed racing.
  13. Think Freddie is way past his best these days.Overiding a lot of the time.IMO
  14. Barely anyone cares about tin pot derbies.
  15. 100% agree. But the BSPL & it's members must shoulder some blame. This is a shared event & riders are paid to the agreed BSPL pay scale. If the BSPL pay scale states the rider gets £25 per point but the rider has an agreement at his club with the BSPL member that promotes at his track that he will get £75 per point I can understand why riders look for a reason to miss these once prestigious events. And before anyone starts offering that no rider would ride for those fees please note they are just numbers & can be changed to suit.
  16. I was under the impression Coleman was looking more to 2028 than next year for Ipswich. There’s a bit to do with track and pit area to get it GP ready. He wants to pony up rent upfront in one lump sum to have more access to Foxhall to get things done that he wants. Last I heard he hadn’t got the green light on that but things could have changed last few weeks. We’ll see.
  17. Ipswich or glasgow is the question. Or Ipswich and glasgow and no manchester Which way will it go
  18. Hard to race when only one team was prepared to put a fixture on
  19. Full calendar announced at Torun, with “a couple of surprises”…
  20. Yesterday
  21. Ha, not sure about speedway but on the grass I saw him at collier st, riding where no-one else dared around the outside full gas and he was almost horizontal. Fantastic skill as the clumps of earth were big and made it very bumpy. I thought that was a fabulous CP, unpredictable and sorted the men from the boys.
  22. They were probably happy having him a first reserve & getting a few meetings, but when Woffy wasn't fit, those plans changed. It does show why the SGP2 Champ shouldn't automatically get a wild card / reserve spot. The top U21 rider doesn't equal top 16 of the world.
