  1. Past hour
  2. Must be measured using a Ferrari 🤣 For me, a full tank costs £75. That goes 500 miles. Return trip is exactly 200 miles - £30. £10 cheaper, door to door, I'm the DJ, and it's much quicker.
  3. Agree about the fanzone , riders merchandise would have sold well I heard last year the organisers wanted £2k up front for riders to have merchandise stall …. More food outlets in the zone would he been ideal … all red tape
  4. Is it though? Average per mile cost to run a car, according to Google, is 49p per mile, so for a 200 mile round trip, that's just shy of £100. How much was the coach?
  5. +Streaming is available which is an even cheaper option.Im quite sure the usual diehards will be there enjoying themselves and are very welcome.👍
  6. Cairns averages the cut off date of 23rd may was still lower than Bowes so come 23rd this month I would of thought Cairns will be higher so start of July he should move to no2 unless Bowes scores more than Cairns until then and stays in the team
  7. It's cheaper to drive by yourself than take the bus. It's also barely advertised.
  8. Yes I said to a friend in Glasgow the other week I thought the cost of the bus would put people off travelling, now it's fans travelling by car at a cheaper cost, but that depends on if people are willing to drive a couple of hours. The bus to worky next week is on the edge of not happening I believe
  9. Today
  10. The Fanzone was pretty poor.... I was surprised riders didn't have merch stalls there... I presume the lack of fast food and bar was due to those who had paid to have their units within the stadium?... We didn't bother with the fanzone in the 2nd day... Overall though a cracking weekends racing...
  11. We’ve got to find something to talk about as any premiership speedway is about as rare as kings lynn winning the title 😬
  12. Green sheet averages cut off at the 23rd of each month. The up-to-date figures for Poole are 'up to 27 May'. However, the home meeting against Glasgow that evening isn't taken into account until July (up to and including 23 June).
  13. Morgan Williams seems an odd choice, from the little I've found on him, 28yrs old last year rode for Plymouth II this year no apparent team for 26. The Morgan Williams Racing page makes dismal reading, the first lines reads something like "had a diabolical weekend, best forgotten etc" Surely there was a more promising rider available?
  14. What a sh*tshow of a season.... No wonder the SGB Premiership Speedway League Thread has so many other topics to pad it out...
  15. Absolute disgrace. Should have been given till atleast 3pm tomorrow before the call-off. Leicester should be investigated. I wouldn't be going anyway, in fact I'd never be going to this but on the British Speedway Forum, my opinion, and only my opinion matters. Proper shady this?!? Hopefully the BSPL award Ipswich the 3 points.
  16. No it’s not. Latest GSAs show Cairns at 4.93 and Bowes at 5.05. Newman is at 5.03. This team just looks stronger every day. Will someone redeclare and challenge them?
  17. Interesting listening to Lemo on the Tatum Talks podcast where he mentioned that the 2024 SoN was a financial disaster and that (speaking in the week prior to the GP events) there were still 800 tickets available for the Friday night (just the £80,000)!
  18. Morgan Williams in for Cluff tonight? Live Updates – British Speedway Official Website
  19. He's only done 17 qualifying meetings so far (needs to have done 20), presumably?! His official GSA will surely come into effect for July.....
  20. Re-arranged: July 6th 1 home match since May the 4th, next home match July 2nd!
  21. Although Cairns average is higher on the averages it is lower on the latest championship declarations. It will most likely change when the next declarations are issued.
