  1. Past hour
  2. I'd be all for a RS system in both leagues. With Jake Mulford, Jason Edwards and Leon Flint being the standard for the Premiership and Ace Pijper, Max Perry and William Cairns being rhe standard for the Championship. It creates a clear next step on the ladder so to speak for riders progressing up the leagues. And the slightly stronger RS at 6 and slightly weaker RS rule being implemented in both leagues tbh. Prem example - 6. Connor Mountain 7. Joe Thompson Champ example - 6. Luke Killeen 7. Jody Scott If someone like Tate Zischke wants to ride in the Premiership or Jacob Hook in the championship they should be at number 2 or 4. Reserves should be protected for young(ish) British riders who can develop. Maybe it could be extended out to Aussies for the likes of Fraser Bowes and Jordy Loftus but that's another topic.
  3. HOW ON EARTH did Rospiggarna pull that off? The most extraordinary meeting I've ever commentated on!
  4. Getting big names in isn't always going to improve the sport... the aim is to improve the quality of racing and that's only ever going to happen if all the riders are at a similar standard. Some of the best races I've ever watched were at amateur level 😄 may have been slower but all 4 riders were all over eachother.
  5. Today
  6. God don’t tell the Belle Vue fans that speedway isn’t all about passing lol
  7. Probably a routine home win unless its too hot for the Poole riders on their way to the stadium then Worky might be in with a chance. ☀️
  8. If Birmingham had any tactical nous, they only should have made the swap on the agreement that Edwards would regain his place when fit. Just be honest with Hagon from the start "you have a temporary team spot". I'm sure Hagon wouldn't have turned that down - he had no other Premiership options. Can't believe how inept the team planning has been!
  9. Wednesday’s matches line-ups Indianerna v Smederna- live on Premier Sport 2 Indianerna 1 Wozniak 2 Gusts 3 Dudek 4 Kowalski 5 Berge 6 J Grahn 7 R Karlsson Smederna 1 MJJ 2 Pollestad 3 Nilsson 4 Chugunov 5 Drabik 6 Jansson 7 Andersson Piraterna v Vastervik Piraterna 1 Kolodinskis 2 O Fajfer 3 Lyager 4 Sorensen 5 Milik 6 Thornblom 7 L Selvin Vastervik 1 Lambert 2 Smektala 3 F Lindgren 4 Brennan 5 Thorssell 6 Wahlquist 7 Nielsen Dackarna v Rospiggarna Dackarna 1 Jakobsen 2 Lahti 3 R Jensen 4 Przedpelski 5 Lebedevs 6 A Van Dyck 7 THJ Rospiggarna 1 Laguta 2 Nagel 3 Douglas 4 Ellis 5 Huckenbeck 6 Hellstrom-Bangs 7 L Lindgren Vargarna v Lejonen Vargarna 1 Lidsey 2 M Nowak 3 NKI 4 Palovaara 5 Miskowiak 6 Blodorn 7 Hjelmland Lejonen 1 Cierniak 2 Chmiel 3 Berntzon 4 Henriksson 5 Zmarzlik 6 S Van Dyck 7 Persson
  10. But Birmingham look weaker than they did earlier in the season, so Ipswich shouldn't have to be as good to score 60? Brummies won't have a reserve like Lynn did to cause trouble.
  11. Another way to look at it, Starke beat Harrison, which Cairns couldn't do in heat 2. Starke then had a second place behind Steve Worrall. Starke then had the struggling Declan Kennedy taken out of a heat & lost to Zaine & Mountain. Starke then faced Mountain & tac sub Worrall! Who should Starke have beaten that he didn't? Worrall or Mountain (who Cairns didn't meet)? You wouldn't expect a 4 point away reserve to beat a 5 point home reserve (Zaine)! Now Cairns obviously came on string as the match went on, beating Zaine twice, which is brilliant for a 2 pointer, I take nothing away from him. But you can't deny Starke had harder rides & scored the same. That's not saying Cairns should have done better, just that Starke is being harshly judged imo.
  12. Well they both got the same score from same amount of rides looking at updates site.
  13. Did he? Must have missed it! He beat Harrison and a very off form Lambert. Cairns was much more impressive.
  14. So I have prem sports how do I watch this then streaming how do u find this
  15. Hello from the box for Rospiggarna v Indianerna - live on Premier's streaming service this evening. According to everywhere except the official SVEMO site it's Hellstrom-Bangs at #7 for Rospiggarna.
  16. It’s somewhere between 2 & 4 quid some not massive. The problem is that any big league would be weaker than the championship because of the current doubling up.
  17. Same here. I thought it was a pretty good meeting, and props to the track guy for getting the meeting on.
  18. We have notoriously been one of the lowest payers though, albeit riders would get paid all the time and on time.
  19. I think Hook has been better lately and I think Vinnie will score well with Starke struggling a bit lately.
  20. I enjoyed the meeting too. Thought it was a decent watch. Fricke the best rider in the league currently. Really like him too seems like a decent down to earth fella so good for him. Still if some got their way, he’s another they’d happily punt out of British Speedway to get one league speedway..🙄
