  1. Past hour
  2. He was just as bad when he was at Rye House. Half the fans went bald pulling their hair out at his mismanagement.
  3. What they should do is write this as a response: The local council acknowledges the thoughts from our locals and would like to counter the proposal of a speedway stadium, if the locals would prefer a different type of community feel we are much for this and to reduce the count in traffic volumes we would like to announce that the speedway stadium will not be built in this location and instead, a new hotel will be built in its place to house migrates. The hotel will bring more jobs to the local area and we very much back this idea. Goodbye!
  4. They say that it's better to be lucky than good... Having seen what has happened in a number of Cheetahs meetings this season... sadly Schroek is neither...
  5. Today
  6. I have been told by a Premiership Clerk of Course that he often appears out of control during the meeting and is a nightmare to deal with.
  7. Great stuff! There were a few pictures of the back straight at Newport and I don't ever remember it being that busy but it was packed out!
  8. It's odd isn't it? Simon nearly always looks miserable on TV and at times has that "rabbit in the headlights" look. But he came to the Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club meeting a while back and he was a completely different person. Chatty, friendly, he even smiled a few times. I must admit, I changed my view of him that evening.
  9. So the rule saying riders must sign to say they've been paid for the previous meeting obviously has no teeth whatsoever.
  10. I can only see this as a Sheffield win and no doubt if it is it will be all down to the Manager, rather than his riders. In my opinion Sheffield have been a successful side for the last 4-5 seasons despite their Manager, rather than because of their Manager, who frankly at times appears clueless when interviewed.
  11. Yeh but he’s been like that since the start of the season
  12. Don’t think the rules of only 1 tacsub and riders having to have 3 rides give the Team Managers a lot of leeway and options bar tactical use of reserves in most cases.Schroek seems to make some strange decisions though. We don’t know what’s going on in the Pits.
  13. Crickey. That meeting must have dragged on 😁
  14. I think that's what's called "hedging your bets" 🤣 This tie is quite interesting. Both sides have something to prove and there is a fair chance they'll meet in the semis (or the final!?). Can't see Sheffield doing anything but being on top form, but Leicester just don't seem know when they're beaten at the moment. So it could be close. But not to sit on the fence, I think it'll be around a 48-42 win for the home side.
  15. Great effort from all the team. Bring on the play offs. Good to see all the Pirates there last night. Just having breakfast in McDonald's before going home.
  16. As I have mentioned before... Just ask TR and CC why don't they just use the Abbey given their low projected numbers... Car parking too shouldn't be an issue using their crowd projections... A perfect sized stadium has been built if those numbers are correct .. So just use it...
  17. I seen Vilads Nagel at Ashfield against Redcar, this young man looked the real deal so it's disappointing the Comets fans won't get to see him at The GT Tyres arena on this occasion.Still looking forward to what should be a really competitive meeting UTC!
  18. I expected a clear win for Glasgow on Saturday if they had Nagel. It now makes it interesting without him. I believe harris has been around northside a few times and even guested for us last season. Hes done okay but hes definitely beatable. Howarth, thompson and Flint all like northside too so its certainly going to be a hard meeting. Our reserves should be dominant but the 1-5 is anyone's guess. One things for certain, Vuolas will do much better than he did at Glasgow.
  19. Huge blow at Foxhall that especially with how poor Dan has been at home lately . His away performances have generally been poor, but we know he can get double figures regularly at home. Hopefully it isn’t too serious and a season ender..
  20. I believe he said it in a brief interview, may have BSN. He certainly look quick at Kings Lynn in his last meeting. Pretty sure it was KOC final on BSN.
  21. Lions will push it close I reckon. 47-43 either way.
