If it's a legal change & fits under the averages, they should just announce it "subject to management committee approval" then if it was to be refused (for no reason) the management committee have nowhere to hide (from accusations of bias) -
No surprise there, we lost and he probably feels he cost us the meeting.

Word from Havvy regarding not using Kennett - must say, I find Havvys post meeting words quite pathetic. Comes across as a complete sore loser. "Obviously I am a bit gutted at the end, but overall very proud of the lads. They did a great job and you know, poor Coops (Cooper Rushen) getting excluded for that. He got by him and the throttle goes two ways you know. I didnt agree with the call at all. Then they expected us to go out in the dark for heat fifteen, so I spoke to the referee and said it is dangerous. He agreed with me, so what did they do? They put three lights on the back straight that shone onto the football pitch and there was nothing on the corners. The corners were pitch black, you couldn't see a thing and listen, speedway is a dangerous sport as it is and it doesn't need to be made anymore dangerous. But we got the bonus point. Of course I would have liked the win, it would have been good. It clearly meant a lot to them, they were dancing around as if they had won the league. They won't even make the play-offs! But as I said, I was proud of the boys. They had a couple of off races but that is to be expected here. If you can get out the traps and get a bit of fresh air between you and them then its great. But It's like a night and day difference. If you're behind and you're getting roasted with shale it's a horrible battle. I really wanted to use Eddie (Kennett) a bit more but the guy was blown out. Really feeling it. Absolutely knackered. He's 40 years old and been out the sport for a few years and he just couldn't do it. I wanted to use him in heat 14 but he said he was done. I knew we needed him so I did a deal and said if you cant do 14 you will have to do 15, which he did. But it is what it is and on a different day we would have won that."

Lawson also not out at the medal ceromony. At last years BSN Final, 2nd leg.

Like Coopers enthusiasm but he really needs to curb it a little or someone is going to get seriously hurt. You can’t keep knocking riders off and expect them all just too take it.His name will be in a few black books. That move tonight was very rash.Big thank you to Havvy tonight .It was a decent meeting (without a lot of passing)with some good tussles.

The cynical side of me is wondering how many free tickets are potentially given out to boost crowd numbers at Noethampton but would be foolish if they need to show the books to a potential buyer If Tai was part of a consortium I would imagine his financial outlay would be minimal at best but with his contacts and profile perhaps he could be a good shot in the arm on the promotion front Possibly, if Sheffield sell up or work on a reduced budget then remove Lambert and Pickering with Both Holders as they'll end up somewhere together

Premiership 2027 - Are You Interested??
Arthur73 replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That is a fair point, therefore we just sacrifice the Polish 1st league riders for being able to ride on Fridays, it is worth a shot to potentially increase crowd numbers. Ben Cook, Max Fricke, Jack Holder, Jaimon Lidsey, Dan Bewley, Brady Kurtz and Norick Bloedorn are the riders we would lose currently. However there are a number of top polish league 2 riders we would retain. If it doesn't work then scrap it for 2028 and at least something was tried. -
The last time was Jye’s error who dropped it as cooper was nowhere near him. Most apart from Berwick fans thought that. I was there also and neutral. I agree with all the Havvy comments that has to be the worst management decisions of all time. I couldn’t believe when I seen Hagona the tapes. kennett should of even taken some of the other struggling riders rides.

I heard another name! -
I’ve seen the photos I’ve seen the replays and I get how you might think that but I was there and I sit at the entrance to bend one and Jye’s options were try and make the bend or go into the fence. But let’s pretend that didn’t happen what about hitting Kildemand in bend two or putting Battye into the fence mid straight? Surely even the Poole rose tint can’t excuse that. I don’t know if it’s red mist or the pressure of all the hype that’s put on him but it needs to stop before someone is hurt.

Chris Holder more likely? Doesnt he live in Northampton now?
