Wind up!!😀 I think most clubs are 'sounding out' riders for next season - without being certain of what the league structure and points limit are going to be!! Failing to plan is planning to fail, as they say......

A solid enough win for the Stars last night, but as has been mentioned, the Brummies certainly made them work for it. 5-1’s at crucial times put the meeting to bed though. Can’t see Lynn winning the aggregate point with a 9-point lead to defend. It was more consistent night throughout the 1-6 - Harrison looked miles of it, but he gave it 100% for all 4 laps which is all we can ask for. Listening to Rob Lyon do an interview before the meeting I got the impression that there may be a team change in the not to distant future - don’t know if anyone else who attended picked up on that…

After the pressure on them in Poland at the weekend's, every week, during the season, it must be light relief to turn up at UK Speedway venues and "enjoy" their evening's racing... Racing with a lot less riding on the result, with, for most riders, zero chance of getting replaced regardless of performances.. (In fact, sometimes the worse you do can actually help you get a job the season after!).. It does all seem very "matey" though doesn't it? Which isn't a good look if you want the viewers to believe they are watching top level professional sport that has some jeapordy, and consequence for winning and losing.. Let's hope the GP's deliver some proper sporting drama and excitement to help showcase the sport...

WELL!!!!! That was good!! Only PEOPLE ENJOYING!!! the meeting were the home and away riders themselves who were not at all concerned with the cameras in the pits picking them up having a jolly up between themselves!!! What a joke uk speedway has become with riders mixing with the opposition. Not in any sport in the world would teams act in this manner,ONLY IN UK SPEEDWAY.SMAMBLES

Good job there’s a lack of riders willing or available to ride in the UK as there should be at least a couple of Sheffield riders either due a P45 or be on a mast warning for one after the last two away performances. OK to build a team to be string at home but to be so poor away is appalling -
Agree British speedway is on its backside such a shame when I can remember going to watch Poole at White City,Wimbledon etc but must say I've no time for Tai Woffinden may be a nice chap but didn't help British speedway when he run away to Poland years ago giving up riding here as I'm sure many on here will remember.

Wow.... that super sucked. Not sure what was the most embarrassing... the overall Tigers points tally, Stead putting Holder in heat 15 rather than Brennan or the lack of interesting heats for TV. -
