  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve heard they are going to chose each riders designated teams by rock, scissors, paper!
  3. Looking at the referees score card I see that all times are recorded to the nearest tenth of a second. Does this mean that workington do not operate using transponders? Maybe the reason we had problems with Workington transponders being fitted wrongly on Friday night.
  4. So do we think it can be strapped up and he may be able to race?
  5. Found it! 🗣️ "Two Big crashes a f'ed up bike and helmet done. My ankel is f'ed Think its sprained Will fly Home and get it checked tommorw Thanks to Simon Kate and Ryan for top effort the last Two days enjoyed it Setback for me but im used to this s!it See you guys soon 🫵"
  6. Big blow for him and us, irreplaceable in our team. Hope it is not as bad as he seems to think.
  7. Today
  8. Well thanks for the update doesn't sound like great news, hopefully nothing that pain killers can't help with. Shoulder and wrist injuries, I guess are generally more of an issue.
  9. Easy night for stars. Can see Mitch and Victor scoring a few more points once dialled in....
  10. That was the same Somerset fan who made the post Singy13! Good to meet you!
  11. Would say riders would prefer slick tracks and will voice opinion. These heat waves probably require many more hours put into track prep and some clubs don’t seem too have the time or volunteers .
  12. BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Jake Mulford. BIRMINGHAM: Tobiasz Musielak, Jonas Jeppesen R/R, Keynan Rew, Paco Castagna, Matej Zagar, Simon Lambert, Sam Hagon.
  13. Wednesday’s ( 20th) matches line-ups Fjelsted v Vojens Fjelsted 1 2 3 4 5 Vojens 1 Thomsen 2 Rew 3 M Hansen 4 Andersen 5 Jesper Knudsen Region Varde v Grindsted Region Varde 1 Zagar 2 Klindt 3 Chugunov 4 Blodorn 5 Heiselberg Grindsted 1 K Bjerre 2 Pollestad 3 Prem Pawlicki 4 Wojdylo 5 Nagel
  14. Maybe need to water later We all know it's hard But for better racing really need to get more grip like it was last year 3td and 4th bends are no man's land away from white line
  15. Wonder if the riders have influenced slicker track prep? . I believe the outside line could be roughed up more for next week, certainly Tate hasn't been as effective on the slicker surface. Quality of racing has to be the main priority because that provides the entertainment but it is also important to win your home meetings. Sometimes you change track conditions and your own riders find it more challenging than the opposition so it becomes counter productive. Recent meetings have been on hot breezy days with high evaporation rates which haven't proved easy to mitigate against. I have noticed with the later starts that by the end of the meeting moisture starts to come back from the ground which coupled with watering at grading breaks has helped. Bomber will utiluse any outside line on Saturday 😃, this has the potential to be the best meeting of the season so the track needs to be a fitting stage with our boys really up for it. UTC !
  16. Derwent Park was within walkable distance for a lot of people living in town, not the case with Northside where most will now be driving to get there, so I don't think a bar would be top priority.
  17. Regarding the track, I was talking to Steve lawson prior to the meeting he told me that as of 2pm they was that much water on the track that the truck/tractor were just picking the shale up on the tyres, so it's a big balancing act to get it right. Unfortunately the dry weather is due to continue so track prep will be difficult again
  18. Tuesday’s QF 1st leg line-ups Dackarna v Vastervik Dackarna 1 R Jensen 2 Lahti 3 Lebedevs 4 Przedpelski 5 Jakobsen 6 THJ 7 Krawczyk Vastervik 1 Lambert 2 Wojdylo 3 F Lindgren 4 Nielsen 5 Thorssell 6 Wahlquist 7 Brennan Indianerna v Smederna- live on Premier Sports 1 Indianerna 1 Wozniak 2 Buczkowski 3 Dudek 4 Berge 5 Becker 6 J Grahn 7 R Karlsson Smederna 1 Nilsson 2 Chugunov 3 Madsen 4 MJJ 5 Drabik 6 Klasson 7 Pollestad Rospiggarna v Lejonen Rospiggarna 1 Laguta 2 Ellis 3 Douglas 4 Nagel 5 Huckenbeck 6 L Lindgren 7 Hellstrom-Bangs Lejonen 1 Kubera 2 Woryna 3 Przyjemski 4 Zmarzlik 5 Cerniak 6 Wiltander 7 Persson
  19. The inconsistency of the Ipswich team still concerns me…..I am not counting my chickens yet.
  20. Should be a very comfortable night at the office for the Stars. 56-34 Stars 1. Kvech - 13 (5) 2. Iversen - 8 (4) 3. Harris - 6 (4) 4. Lawson - 10 (5) 5. Klindt - 8 (4) 6. Cook - 9 (4) RS. Harrison - 2 (4) Total - 56 Spires 1. Wright - 6 (4) 2. McDiarmid (g) - 1 (3) 3. Tungate - 7 (5) 4. Palovaara - 2 (4) 5. Janowski - 10 (6) 6. Kildemand - 7 (5) RS. Killeen - 1 (3) Total - 34
  21. Preparation for the final for both teams.
  22. If there is four fixtures in one night that will require 56 physically fit riders to be allocated - nah no chance.
  23. As regards the gate and go track some people dont understand the impact conditions like yesterday bring for the track staff, no matter what the track these type of conditions make track prep really challenging. You only have to look at it to see this is no way a gate and go track, it was created purely for racing and is one of the best in the country in my opinion. As for the proper bar well who is to say in time there wont be something similar to what Somerset had on the first bend?
  24. As he said he'll no be rubbing deep heat on his nut sacs 😂
  25. Or they could dip for each rider, "Dip, dip, dip, my little ship...etc." (Ruder versions are available).
