What about Northampton?

Sounds promising then, be great to have another midlands track back. -
Chris Julian (far left) road for Plymouth back in the 60's together with his namesake Chris Blewett (third from right). They were both West Country lads although Blewett was born in Canada. They were known as fierce rivals but apparently it was all show and behind the scenes they were good mates.

If Anders doesn’t leave i would suspect one of the 4 heat leaders that Poole have will be leaving. The only way they could keep all would probably be to go very weak at the reserve with 2x2 pointers I agree with you’re point on Zaine I could also see Plymouth being interested.

I used to play rugby at that very club on the map before the M42 was constructed😉The ground is called Portway.

It’s always better to head home after a victory, it was a pretty decent meeting last night with some good racing, special mention goes to Alfie Bowtell who was excellent, Simon Lambert as usual gave his all and I wouldn’t be upset if he was in the Bandits lineup next season. Once again the reserve pairing for Berwick weren’t great and the least said about Klindt’s performance the better. Final meeting of an interrupted season for me as I have something else on next weekend. Onwards to 26 , whatever it may hold

Poor contract negotiators if they can’t tell TNT when their season Officially Ends and what could happen with weather. There again the fixture list is built round riders dictating when they are available instead of the other way round.Thats GB speedway. -
Yes, I submitted my comments based on the template as well. The only point I am making is that the site is proposed to have karting in addition to speedway, and so it is pointless to try to defend noise concerns simply by saying, as others have, speedway will only be for 2 hours a few times a year. On one Facebook page a local councillor has been called a 'c**t' for stating his objections, and told he is wrong when he says activity will be more than just a few speedway meetings. The best way to persuade the councillor is to use planning arguments to knock down his concerns, not abuse, whether we agree with him or not

But you won't be travelling up to watch them, so does not matter when it is 😜 -
I agree it’s quite amusing reading those comments. One poster even submitted three on one day! The one referring to the travellers made me chuckle – you can bet your bottom dollar if they were to pitch up anywhere near their home, they would be up in arms. So being concerned for their wellbeing is laughable. To my knowledge, there have been no submissions from any residents on that permanent site, which is very close to the proposed development, but plenty from people who live over three miles away. By submitting your comments, using the SNS template as a basis, we ensure that the planners focus on the planning process rather than these incorrect but all valid local people’s concerns. That’s all we as a speedway community can do.

I copy and pasted what was suggested, I onto read the comments from others and left it at that. Foxhall isn’t that bad and I live 1 km away from the track and they operate many weekends, outside in the garden yes it can be heard but the speedway isn’t half as loud as 20 cars at the same time. People just don’t like change and that’s fact, same as when people say happy for people to come to the country, then ask them to take one in their house and it’s a closed subject.

It's got to be TNT Sports that won't move the dates they've got fixed in their schedules. The only thing would be to push the first semi-final back a week, stage the missing fixtures, and run both semis on the same nights (as Sky tried - but I guess that's expensive in terms of doubling-up OB kit and teams). Then, of course, it rains ... -

We have no restrictions when we race. Both Clubs have to agree to a date that suits both , lets see what happens first before wanting to claim a two legged tie after one leg ffs.
