  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah,on my previous visits to e.w.r I've noticed the same.anyone think the ref was a little bizarre also last night, either not putting on the two minutes warning or putting it on when the riders had already taken to the track...seemed an age between a lot of the races.
  3. It wasn't. Good track curators are rare these days but Plymouth is generally the worst prepared track with numerous avoidable postponements in the last few years. Hopefully you burnt some straw to sort the surface out tonight.
  4. Brady Kurtz Rohan Tungate Ben Cook Troy Batchelor Craig Cook Nicolai Klindt Rider Replacement 👍🏻
  5. In the middle of bend 1 there's a soft patch/rut that's been troublesome for years & the riders be it professional or amateurs just ride over it on full throttle & it gets the rider around the bend no problem but if the rider slightly shuts off the throttle the bike just hoys the rider into the fence ... It must be a weakness in that part of the track I imagine.. just saying
  6. Isn't it strange what a few hours make. One away meeting and already this result is written off as almost impossible for King's Lynn. Only a month or two ago, King's Lynn were murmured to be right up there as by some. The King's Lynn track is up there as one of the most difficult to get to grips with as an away rider, many of the very best in the world has suffered. Although lower level, at least Rushen & Scott have had regular outings on it. I'm not convinced Hellstrom-Bangs will be that handy. The few times watching him, he's an exciting, full gas rider. King's Lynn is not a place to do that at as it can quickly send you to the fence. The reverse of Thursday night or better is absolutely possible.

  9. Shame it took the tractors around 30mins to try and rectify the issues with the track. There were very few issues a couple of seasons ago with Redcar 🫤 I wonder why? After the grading the entrance to bend one continued to clearly show there were issues/uncertainty as the riders appeared not to be comfortable compared to previous visits.
  10. Does anyone know if Oxford is going to race at home soon. heard at redcar last night its not good there but hope it is because we need as many teams in the league as possible.
  11. That's not what the riders said. After the grading riders from both teams said the track was good.
  12. I think Klindt is a better rider but charles as been very loyal to the club. what happens when averages change can charles just come straight back into the team.
  13. As is usually the case, the music blasts out, the "DJ "in the box doesn't realise the infield announcer is talking and the Announcer in the box seems to be stop start, or completely inaudible. I would like one of the Promotion, track staff etc to attend in the stand just after the start line for the whole meeting to witness what a shambles the PA system is.
  14. Was spot on for planting tatties, 😜. 45 minutes fans were left standing about with little or no information, no wonder the sport is going down the pan
  15. The second half of the show didn't have any issues, it appears to be when the Northampton promoter was talking. Sound issues aside (and its not just this speedway podcast that has sound issues), I do think it is a good podcast with interesting talking points and honesty from the panelists- especially Crabby.
  16. Yeah i heard Redcar was spot on last night.

  18. Final Championship standings 1st Svensson 54 2nd Koivula 50 3rd Bauer 46
  19. As a sidenote, Redcar have five "J" first names riders in their 1-7 !!
  20. I meant more earlier, during the day but if it's raining now not surprised Oxford riders are struggling with conditions.
  21. Was fine last week, maybe they have had some rain?
  22. Undoubtedly when it comes to the less experienced riders... but Charles Wright? Leon Madsen? There's always going to be crashes and injuries but what is inexcusable is having airbags and them not performing properly due to them lifting in 2026 in exactly the same way that they did when they were first introduced some 25 years ago.
  23. Is it the usual Plymouth track prep disaster again tonight looking at the result of heat 1 and extensive grading?
