Let’s hope you’re banned for good. Such foul language and aggressive demeanour have no place on a forum. Grow up.

I'm pleased that the Judge and jury are leaving everyone else alone and are focused on Craig with so many ill informed and frankly appalling opinions. I've fallen out with him and his father on more than one occasion but mutual respect and civility remains. As far as this forum is concerned everyone can agree to disagree quite amicably at times but on this occasion I honestly feel that this topic is showing utter disrespect not only for the person but for his alleged issues and that is the absolute pits.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Freddie Starr who, in the 1970s, could often be found watching speedway from the Panorama Room at Owlerton. This invariably led to him doing an impromptu performance after the match, entertaining the crowds with his wild antics. My wife has fond memories of being co-opted into joining him in a conga line which went all the way round the Panorama Room - until it disappeared into the men's toilets! Whether he actually ate the hamster or not, his unique talents will be sadly missed.

OMG! How does Hawkins keep his job.... absolutely clueless. How does he expect Jake to ride in heat 15 when his last race was in heat 8 . Why wasn’t King replaced in his 4th ride? Why wasn’t either Lawson or Harris held back for heat 15? I could go on.....

Had heard that too. Was somewhat surprised given the time and effort that Cook and those behind the scenes take in looking after fans and the work put into his testimonial at Glasgow. Craig is a complex character and quite obviously can be his own worst enemy which is a shame because on his day he can be an invaluable asset.

The mention of Schwartz just brought a couple of things to mind, he was always always a very approachable gentleman....certainly in his early and latter days anyway. I first saw Schwartz at Owego, New York for the very first US OPEN National Championship in 1977.....he won of course. The next year I was on the centre doing some photography and unfortunately got a good photo of Bob breaking his thumb after a close encounter on bends three and four. Wish I could find that photo today...also got one of him in a full slide waving!!!! And yes Sid....I always thought he was underrated too!

I did Sid, the crowd was massive that day. I think it was the biggest at the City in the post war era.

CFS come across as a pair of idiots and are about as professional as their WordArt logo. The stuff they post on Twitter is truly embarrassing. Craig is well shot of them

So the team predicted to finish top can only beat the team predicted to finish bottom by two points at home....either the league is going to be tighter than a tight thing or one or both of those predictions is wrong.

One of my claims to fame Sid, was seeing Steve Bast ride for Wembley in 1970. I think he only rode a couple of home meetings.

What amuses me is that you must be so sad that you and others on here try to trip up certain fans on ANYTHING that is posted that doesn't go with your mentality. I mean fancy trolling to find a small mistake and trying to humiliate someone. You're a sad individual. Go ahead, reply with more sh!te that pleases your tiny mind. I know I made a mistake. Pity you don''t realise the same clown.

Mmmm interesting comments on ( B ) rough park you say.. well you could ask all apart from 1 or 2 visiting riders who have been there so far this season & you'll get a pleasant surprise on how many have enjoyed racing on it & don't forget that we only have 1 day access to get the track RACE ready so hats off to top track man Johnny swales..

Regardless if rider A is scoring better than rider B if both are 2 point reserves then it is irrelevant what anybody thinks. Whilst i get there point about levels of current ability, but if both are currently averaging 2pts then as far as the rules go there is no argument.

Edit - isn't it Adam Ellis?? Has Swindon race suit on and Meridian lifts sponsorship on kelvers?
  24. 1 point
Is it just a coincidence that this appears on the day that CFS sponsored Swindon were going to use Craig Cook as a guest? Just as well that the weather forecast has put paid to that idea....

I believe 'the mighty Poland' are next year going to run their meetings not at weekends but instead on Monday and Thursdays using random septets and sharing riders around the teams if any of them get injured, or are needed elsewhere riding for their other teams.. They are even considering running in the early afternoon as well as evenings, which will then enable No1 riders to ride for two different teams on the same day... They have seen the huge success this operating model can deliver over here and decided to copy it.. Before confirming, they are just awaiting the feedback as to their plans from the various National blue chip companies who bank roll the teams, and the mainstream National audio, visual and written media who provide it with wall to wall coverage... I am sure it will be a foregone conclusion as to their opinion..
