I believe propaganda is something cockneys do when they have a long hard look at something I'll get me coat

I saw that myself. It was posted by one bot on Twitter which was then retweeted by a couple of others. When he was challenged to provide the photo in question, he’s ignored them. Seems to be an awful lot of mischief making going on and a few negative comments on Twitter from brand new accounts created only yesterday. The majority of the negative comments seem to be coming from the Poles, and yet the same people seem happy for him to resume racing in their native Poland. How does that make sense?

Let's hope this attracts 100's of protesters at very track he races at... Just as long as they have paid to get in...

This is bang on. Someone made reference to a visa taking 8 weeks - I don’t think the visa process only just began yesterday somehow

Just to correct the last paragraph - I was in the Peter Craven Suite last night for the amazing celebration of Steve Casey’s life so checked. At the top of the stairs, outside the suite, in gold letters, it says “Peter Craven Suite”. Below that, there is a photograph of the “Wizard of balance” himself. So yes there is a mention and yes there is a photo

Congratulations to Ipswich on the signing of Emil. Not only is this a feather in the cap for Ipswich, but British Speedway in general. One thing that Ipswich has to be favourites for is the Pairs that they look as though they can retain the title.

'I don't know what the English wanted to prove. Probably their own stupidity and ignorance. Or maybe they wanted to "celebrate" the anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine in this way? It's outrageous. They don't have an ounce of decency - said the former Polish international, Jan Krzystyniak. Sayfutdinov is not a Pole and I will repeat it all the time. He was, is and will be a Russian for me and no passport will change that. The mere fact of allowing him to compete is outrageous, because as long as the war lasts, Russian athletes should be excluded from all competitions. And what the English have done is the height of rudeness. After all, they could have announced this contract a few days earlier, or a few days later, if only out of respect for all the victims of this war. For me, they are either ignorant people who do not know what is happening in Europe, or egoists who do not care about human suffering and do not look further than the tip of their own noses, concluded Krzystyniak. Best way to watch Kings Lynn is to be a bit worse for wear

What an award for the best promotion, fairest track, and best supporters in our league.

And do people really think that Louis has waited virtually all the close season and announced it now without having all the required visa/permit/approvals in place?

King did ride at no.3 often last season when Batch was at no.5 and King didn't perform well throughout most of the season at either This season i don't think it will be any easier at 3 with the likes of Bewley, Lidsey, Jakobsen, Pedersen, KK in the lesgue full time Based on the past he is capable of going better, he does in the championship, but is last seasons prem form his level now for the top flight, will be interesting if he gets his form back then certainly ipswich should pick up alot of bonus points Riss is the same really, never liked him riding at 2 with Doyle as again on his day he can win races at Foxhall, but he wont win races in the same heat as Doyle or against one of the strongest opposition heat leaders Think King and Riss at 3 & 4 will define the season for ipswich, lets hope they both do well

Same with Sky... Are the GP's still broadcast on YouTube for areas of the world that have no TV contract in place? Or does Discovery cover the whole planet?

If it was Hawkins idea to get the Emil signing "out there" then you will understand the timing issue if you ever get the opportunity to meet him or see him interviewed on television

There was no better place to watch speedway then the EKKA, many a night 1 would leave the ekka & would have to buy the newspaper on Monday to see who won on Saturday night.. I don’t know if they still do, but when the Brisbane Show was on, they use to have speedway demonstrations, I’m talking a few few years ago now. I left there 17 years ago..

I don’t normally get involved with these because I’ll give it 3 weeks in to the season before someone makes changes! But purely on the teams that start and assuming Pedersen is in at Peterborough, Ipswich, Sheffield, Lynn and Peterborough top 4 not necessarily in that order. Only team I can’t see troubling the play off places as it stands is Wolves.

There are two types of people in this world. Those who believe all the propaganda they hear on television, and those who don't...

It was probably only made today thanks to the Polish media making it known and no malice was intended in announcing it on the anniversary of the incursion but that said it all started some time before with Crimea. It is a good signing for U.K. speedway but we are an island with an awful lot of small minded individuals who look for a cause to rise up against whatever, irrespective of the facts. Most clubs will see some benefit and hopefully add to punters to the throughput on the gate. Woe betide the authorities if they veto the signing. It will certainly be an interesting season and Chris deserves some support for having the vision to go beyond the run of mill signings and shake up the sport with an out and out rider whose has an appetite to chase the glory. Hopefully speedway U.K. will benefit from this move.

Brady is no slouch later in meeting when the dirts drifted. He can beat anyone at belle Vue

In a nutshell, yes. Those meetings were never as well supported and everyone knows they are a filler to give an additional handful of meetings. In my view if they want to give promoters an additional three meetings, just extend the league programme to give each team three extra fixtures on a rotational basis. One year you get Plymouth, Redcar and Edinburgh the next Poole, Oxford and Glasgow etc. The idea of keeping things local to minimise travel is pretty flawed given a lot of riders aren't based near their Championship track anyway. These 'trophy' meetings never get the crowds like league meetings do.

Really, really upsetting news, I owed him a great debt of gratitude when the 2008 financial crisis hit and I was made redundant he was able to help when all my funding partners gave me the cold shoulder. Despite my loss of appetite for the sport Steve was one of the guys I called from time to time to keep in touch, just awful news. One of his best decisions he made was to put an English speaking presenter into the Belle Vue 80th Anniversary celebrations, somebody who was used to the open top bus life!
