The pinnacle for any rider is to be world champion as I say he got three of those no other UK rider has done that , I am not a huge fan of his but judged on world titles he's the best we have ever had, granted Loram, Screen and Morton were far better riders to watch on a bike.

With England winning, that will be Wednesday's match off 

In a weak era.  Stick Woffinden at his peak in the 80s and 90s, he's an also ran.

Nonsense... My all time favourite rider was PC...  And he was (quite probably) the best rider in the world from 76 to 78.. An incredible talent... Woffy won THREE world titles... No maybes, no might have beens, no wudda, cudda, shudda... THREE world titles...
