I am sure that alone would get more meetings ran on time during the season, given no income would be forthcoming for either promoters or riders... Track covers have been shown to work so there really isn't any excuse to not invest in them.. And any bona fide professional sport, so impacted by weather, would make such defence against the vagaries of the UK weather top of its list of priorities.. Priority race nights should make the completion of the season something easy to deliver... Given seven teams, six matches per week were possible with only 84 needing to be ran.. Three and a half months of Speedway to be completed in six months.. There is a phrase that goes "Winners always find a way"... UK Speedway definitely needs some "Winners" in the leadership of it going forward....
