No way is it an ongoing ethos. Team building is primarily down to points limits. Once the 1-7 is confirmed and they have their first get-together the riders give their opinions on track prep. Obviously this will change as the season progresses and the weather/temperatures change., but still its all about being successful. This season's declared objective was to go for the treble - the double treble. That's what will be in the record books rather than whether one or two meetings may not have been entertaining! In a tight meeting,close racing can be just as entertaining as a few passes. Especially if the home side is winning -
Good grief man no dirt will be taken off. There is shale on the track but it gets packed in hard after each meeting so any rain runs off it. Last week I did question why it wasn't ripped up as usual and the answer was Poole team didn't want the track like that. Not saying it's right or wrong just how I saw it. -

I'm in Coventry tonight for the ice hockey. Wondering what the state of Brandon stadium is like these days. Is it still in a good enough state to hold speedway again, or is it long gone? -

I can't see Mildenhall stepping up. They have already said that they are happy with NORA (things can change obviously) and their fence solution does not match SCB requirements - hence why they chose the NORA route for this season -
