A ‘proper’ Rising Star Tom Brennan passing the leagues top rider Batchelor! Great ride!4 points

I don’t think it’s over yet Baggy. I can see a protest going in over the use of R/R for a non existent rider ( Klint) Points earned from R/R to be deducted and awarded to KL, or at the best The Broom Stickers can hope for is the meeting to be rerun. Never underestimate the relationship between Buster and Godfrey.3 points

To be honest, if there wasn’t a guest or rider replacement, would it be British speedway?3 points
-
Website goes with a named 7. EADT ( EDP Sister paper) the same. What can you say about an Ipswich team that is running R/R for a rider who has no intention of riding for them.? Only in Speedway. The Circus is back in Town3 points

You’re a right barrel of laughs aren’t you? We must have been watching a different meeting. The Wroclaw track is superb and offered up a whole stack of passing throughout. Another belter of a speedway meeting to round off a top weekend of action.3 points

When Speedways as good as this you don't want it to end. A brilliant weekend in Poland.3 points

Personally I think that online sales and booking in advance will slowly kill off many attractions if not addressed when things get back to some sort of normality. I know it's off topic but I won't be renewing my English Heritage membership until I'm able to visit when it suits me and on a whim and not to have to book a time slot and/or date in advance.3 points

Not a bad meeting in the end, some good racing and bend 4 seemed to have some super grip if you hit it right that would propel you forward an extra 20 yards. Anders Rowe, brilliant. What can you say he won Ipswich the match.Roll on the SON in a couple of years. Kinsley will struggle like most of us thought, whilst there were better riders to choose. But he is one of Allitts boys Proctor was very poor.Ok he needs more than one match, but he has to be more professional and turn up before 19:30.That was disgraceful and should be fined for that.If the match had started on time he wouldn't have And with a bit of luck we could have won with Kerr's e/f being critical. Let's not forget our poor management too,do they really know our riders.Heat 7 6pts down tac sub time,of course not.Jorgensen flying at the time, loves a wet track stick him in,no we don't want to do that.Ipswich used their noddle,i even called itDanny King ht1 R/R again loves wet track get out there get 3pts.Well done Hawkins. So a culmination of a few things and we could get better, but i do feel these will be the bottom 2 in the league.I hope they would be the top 2 and get in the final, that would be something else. Was the crowd really restricted to 1000.That's the biggest crowd of seen in a while 2,000-2,500 maybe, what do others think?2 points

Josh Bates rising star is as bad as it gets as rode in the main body of the team in the top division for Leicester. Poland do it right with under 21’s only.2 points

........... and for those wanting to see team kevlars this season although not on Eurosport but probably YouTube at some point in the next few days, you will see Kings Lynn v Ipswich resplendent in matching kevlars with Ipswich using r/r & a guest wearing Peterborough kevlars.2 points

Well I am in Chester, maybe 25 miles west, we had some rain, not a lot, this morning but now blue skys. I would imagine would be similar but bit later time at BV. The track at BV is ok with rain like today’s. Will provide a good race track, just need the racers.2 points

Not had to type this for a while but.....Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message which includes your mobile number. Thanks Boy that felt good to finally be able to write that!2 points

With another issue being getting fans to buy into purchasing tickets in advance to attend a sport that is so impacted by rain... Especially at those tracks that have 'tourists' who may only be in the area for a week so a 'free entry to the next five matches' won't be of any use to them.. Maybe it's time to offer full refunds if matches are called off? Easy to do with card payments..2 points

Personally I hate team Kevlars and find it easier to distinguish riders with individual suits.2 points

So championship speedway finally arrives at Central Park. Very hard to predict as 2 of the home team and 5 of the guests will have never ridden the track before. If Bacon and Starke can score well in the engine room. And Nicholls and Heeps take to thier new home then Kent could surprise the defending champions. Around Central Park I have to favour Morley and Gilkes over the twins (a reverse of what I expect at Beaumont park). I think what ever the result just seeing live speedway again after so long away, and with the added spice of the historic first "professional" speedway meeting it will be an evening to celebrate whatever the result.1 point

And these signings and facilities are all sanctioned by the same BSPL that berated and threatened SDL & MSDL teams for occasionally needing to use r/r, because it made the sport look bad...1 point

I fear the big hitters for the Lions might have a little too much fire power for the Kings but hopefully should be kept close. The Kent engine room and reserves will have a big say on how close. Still uncertain about Hurry at this level so will certainly get a few questions answered. Also keeping fingers crossed for the track improvements to be positive and likewise the step up in racing.1 point

Have to say this ,I have been looking forward too this meeting for ages....Championship Speedway at last. Got the look of a close meeting....just hope the weather behaves.1 point
