I would like to thank the Edinburgh fans who applauded us ( the Plymouth fans ) as we left the stadium , it was a great gesture and really made our day.6 points

Not sure what their problem with Chris Holder is?! Good to see him riding in UK again even if only for a couple of meetings. Hopefully he'll be riding more regularly over here next season.3 points

Interesting meeting. With the top 2 not quite scoring at their usual rate (hats off to Richard Lawson for a decent effort though), Monarchs were never comfortable and it took yet another heat 15 5-1 to seal the 3 points. There were some vital contributions from the supporting cast, including heat wins for both Police Sarjeant and Dr Hook. We were even treated to a victory lap from young Lasse after finishing third in heat 10. Never seen that before. The glue that is Kye Thomson turned in probably his most dominant display to date, showing a new found aggressive side and some excellent passing. Perhaps he should lose a chain in his first race every week! For the Gladiators, after two races, it looked like they might need to call upon old friends Hunter and Jet. However, they already had the Wolf man at number one and his part in the heat 3 5-1, alongside the brutally inconsistent MPT, turned the meeting on its head. Of the rest, Ben Barker/r posted his best sunny Armadale score since, er, no idea. HNA really is a classy performer but he doesn't half give up easily. And Ben Morley did what Ben Morley does. Paid 9 was good reward for his evening's work. Unlike last week, there was no controversy. Not that there was ever any chance of that with the best referee in the sport in charge. Thank you again for 2014 sir Roll on a week on Friday...3 points

The development of Brennan has been excellent. I saw him race his first race in Eastbourne kevlars and he failed to make it into bend 2 !!!!! He has come on leaps and bounds and I am sure with the right development can move forward. On Monday he was excellent and shows how far he has progressed. He was fast , aggressive and determined. My kids will be proud to wear his colours on Sun !!!3 points

I do not think torpointfanatic22 is a Plymouth fan . All his posts knock Plymouth, apparently doesn’t even live in the south west or attend the racetrack . Just another know all keyboard warrior or princess .3 points

Still waiting for your answer on the better guests you'd have chosen..... As the doubter has been completely unable to name any better guests, I'd say he's been proven totally wrong. Wouldn't you?3 points

Racing was as Kelvin would say out of the top drawer, Birmingham put up a good fight, great to see Connor getting in the points and Ben Basso, what a racer, he has sussed the ashfield track well and defo worth the admission money and more, sincerely hope we can keep him next year, the guy is phenomenal and so exciting to watch.3 points

2nd year running Leon scores 13pts and helps the Gladiators get a point3 points

He was 4th in his qualifier missed out on qualification on count back in a meeting where he finished above dudek and our wild card for Cardiff scored 3. Deserves his place far as I'm concerned2 points

The sort of place for me that could have held regular (monthly?) decent level racing on Saturday or Sunday afternoons... Individuals, made up teams (who just said like is usual?), Buxton v Cradley etc.. And should have been used by the BSP to provide plenty of laps to juniors during the week...2 points

We needed to keep the heat in the season so bringing Tungate in should be the perfect move2 points

So this will be the first look at the new Witches septet, it's Doyle, Starke, Tungate, King, Batchelor, Summers & Hume?2 points

Poor professionalism?? If I got sacked from work but they asked me could I help them out and work a day I would tell them bollocks. He’s one of the most professional riders out there. If you had won on Thursday it wouldn’t of even bothered you about lewi not being there.2 points

Don’t think it’s too long now till members of the crowd are asked to ride2 points

More likely they have now ridden to the 75% point by where they have to make changes and they don't know how long the wait will be. There is also the angle where a rider in an originally declared 1-7 can come back in. Who knows, if he's guilty of something illegal he deserves 2 years ban, if he's swalloed too many painkillers in an attempt to ride, then he doesn't deserve to be pilloried especially when in some sports they are happy to take tens of thousands a week to sit on their backsides for 3-4 years. Hopefully the powers that be will pull their fingers out and do something as its not fair on the rider nor his 2 clubs2 points

Bickley came along way in a short time, sadly for him he has went virtually nowhere over the last two or three season, he has been a Championship reserve and no more. IMO he needs a re-think over the winter as there is something wrong somewhere.2 points

The Torun v Wroclaw match is massive in the context of who meets who in the play-off 1st round. Wroclaw need to win to avoid meeting the in form Czestochowa. If they do it will be Torun who race Czestochowa. We know it`s Lublin v Leszno and it`s injury hit Gorzow v Torun/Wroclaw.2 points

Despite my own frustrations and falling out of love with the sports direction one thing I would never feel the need to question is the way the club individually has embraced and improved its media output and the effort that Chris and the team put in to make the Foxhall experience the best it can be for the fans2 points

Ryan Douglas, by far. The best visiting rider this season. Bringing Bickley in, bad choice. Brings nothing to the team2 points

It's not tht terrible to say be disciplined is over the top, they've got the best no1 in the league a decent no 5 a ok no 3 the rest are reserves which are like most nl teams Most teams get a good beating at belle vue2 points

Birmingham are so short on riders their promotion offered my 87-year-old grandmother a guest spot. She refused as she's guesting for Plymouth instead.2 points

Not entitled to wear it now and also not entitled to expect free admission and programme. Interestingly, looking through things a few weeks ago I found all of Robs Rider Contacts from 2000 to 2003. He certainly covered all bases with Sponsorship, Guaranteed rates with free oil, tyre and fuel (Home and Away), free hotels for him and mechanic at away meetings, and increased travel allowance. We didn't do such comprehensive contracts like that for the top riders so I guess Darryl had a soft spot for him. Nevermind, we got a better than expected transfer fee when we sold him to Berwick so we didn't lose on him. Good riddance. Interesting now talking about dogs staff cutting wires to allegedly cut the grass. Every Sunday morning we had to go around and repair the fence fastenings, repair cut fence tensioning wires, gear moved around so we couldn't find them, and the varied vandalism which was our usual Sunday early jobs to do before the jobs we went for to get ready for the training school or the evening meetings. Rob was part of the dogs staff then. Don't ask about the fence and posts, that were mowed down by a tractor after the previous Saturday dogs meeting. Life with any of the Dogs staff was never anything pleasant and helpful, all spurred on by their Stadium racing manager who used to countenance anything that would annoy us in the hope they got rid of speedway from Brough. They will be happy now.1 point

They’ve been using guests for Kennett all season, most who’d have scored more than he would. Clearly he wasn’t going to return, just playing the numbers game and had no intention of signing anyone to replace him. Should count themselves lucky1 point

Completely agree, imagine if he’d have got injured Thursday night riding for a club that has already sacked him and effectively halved his earning potential for the rest of this season, and then his earning potential falls to zero1 point

I mean he left in 2015 aged 25 he’s returning 7 years older and wiser, I know I’m a really rather different bloke now than I was aged 25 8 years ago…1 point

Spot on. Can only have guests up to cover whos missing so unattached 3 pointer for Connor at reserve and up to 3.5ish for Halder as non of those were available it became another unattacher 3 pointer. A lot of teams get battered at Belle Vue and the later in the season the visit the more dialled in the home side. Kents full season starting 1-7 may have got 10 points more.1 point

It’s hard to see how Louis could have done any better than that, well done. It means that we should keep a strong reserve for the remainder of the season which is important. An out and out number one with a strong reserve makes for a very competitive team. All the best to Riss and a speedy recovery. If Ben has been a silly boy then so be it, but if proved innocent then he will have been very unlucky.1 point

Those were the days when you saw the leagues top riders once maybe twice a season in the league or cup. Then your individual brought them together under one meeting. Now we see them guesting for either the home team or the away team quite frequently so the experience gets diluted.1 point

Giving the situation we found ourselves in last Saturday in the meeting with Glasgow where we held up the meeting allowing Benjamin Basso to get there to take part, and in the spirit of bon-vi vant could I request the meeting be held up just for about 10mins as I will be at the Newcastle Nottingham Forest game tomorrow and my train from Newcastle doesn't get into Berwick until 6-20 leaving only ten minutes foe me to get to Shieldield.1 point

I believe that the stadium owners instructed Grant to remove the fence on the home straight. Dogs track staff had cut the bottom portion of the fence netting in order to cut the grass that was growing under it. This caused the decision from the stadium owners who then wanted to remove it completely, and made Grant make plans to make a portable fence. This fence was in sections interlocking, and needed to be put up before every speedway meeting. Just another job for the dwindling track staff to do. I am led to believe that Grant obtained the sections from Coventry Speedway.1 point

Visiting riders at nos. 1 and 5 tend to score seemingly poorly at Armadale because they meet Masters and Pickering so often. It's different when they are on the Edinburgh side. That maybe suggests that Steve Worrall was the right man but I know that Edinburgh have appreciated Richard Lawson's efforts when he has guested this season. It's going to be a tough match anyway.1 point
