So an Oxford rider will be guesting for Birmingham at Oxford..... Welcome to British Speedway9 points

Disagree with you entirely here. “ If you knew what I know about our female boss you wouldn't like her much And I've promised not to spill the beans” If you’re going to spout this sh!t about someone on a public forum then the right of reply on the same forum is fair game.8 points

I can confirm that was my picture from sat afternoon. After many many hours of work.2 points

It's a tough one... Anything can happen this early in the season. I wonder how the track is, after all the rain? Edit.. Just seen the track on another tread, looks ok. Lets hope the weather plays ball2 points

Scott is universally liked and you know he'll give it everything, under the circumstances best that could happen at this late notice. Just shows the poor team building of this team, as has been said, not building around a decent number one was almost guaranteed to have this effect.2 points

No one is giving up, AEPG are clueless if they are thinking we are. The pressure is being kept on the PCC.2 points
-
Keep the pressure up on the Council to enforce the Local Plan. If a new stadium is required then AEPG should pay for it. AEPG wants everyone to give up. Don't give up.2 points

Probably due to LR's only possible replacement being Schlein. I don't buy his previous lengthy shortlist claim at all, I wouldn't be shocked if Brum were given special permission to run with Premiership Guests at No.1. Higher ups will have to do them a favour otherwise the league will be in chaos before it's even properly started.2 points

I believe this is just sour grapes as this poster has been told their services are no longer required with the new owners and are known a known trouble maker along with a few others whom thought they were very important but have actually been found out.2 points

Looks like it's a partnership between a local brewery (tractor shed ) and the comets, not promoting alcohol, just another sponsorship opportunity . Got to applaud the promotions forward thinking in getting different types of sponsorship2 points

Interview with one of the bravest of the brave. Incredible details I wasn't aware of. If it doesn't make you cry then I doubt you have any emotion. Ultimately though a story of incredible bravery, hope, determination and fortitude over the most awful injuries. Respect for all concerned.1 point

Plenty of rain again today but forecast is now a dry and mild couple of days ahead so the track should be good on Thursday and the boys can get plenty of laps in.1 point

What did Eddie Kennett "do" that PP should seek to emulate? Surely the issue over Eddie Kennet was how his team's management twisted (or were allowed to twist. by the BSPZzz) the rule book inside out in order to gain advantage? That's not something that the rider is necessarily responsible for. And didn't the Brummies do something very similar with James Wright already? "Fool me once", and all that. And if you are advocating more rules and regulations shenanigans, aren't you advocating a course of action that is at the heart of why the sport is losing so much of it's fan base?1 point

What I put has been taking out of context by a few people while I'm ending it here and now Jen crossland I hereby apologise for anything that's been said from my side That's where I'm not going to comment further That's the end1 point

That's the beauty of opinions. What I will say is that it looks like the hardest top league to predict for many seasons. And that assuming we are taking the Pawlicki situation at face value they are the one club (like Plymouth in the league below) who could really have done without their number one getting injured pre season.1 point

According to the round the boards podcast apparently Birminghams side is better than leicesters, believe it or not! ' I'll have what there having ' ..1 point

Although we've seen it with NDL teams before. Most obviously Ashton Boughen.1 point

It’s not a British speedway thing, but an Oxford thing, if you have several teams your going to have instances where your regular riders for one of your A or B sides turn up to race for the other side to take points off you. Doubling up has been around for years just that this is the first time where riders will be riding for another club at the track where they normally race for the home team, it does look a bit silly to be honest.1 point
-
I'm not on FB so didn't know. Looking forward to seeing the new race suits, hope they're an improvement on recent previous seasons.1 point

I'm pretty sure this is bloke who was spouting off on Facebook regarding becoming a steward and didn't receive a response from the club (Jen). Its all on Facebook I think or was. In other more important news the Lions riding order has been revealed . Clearly Stewart thinks I am a genius and puts Douglas at 5 like I said he should!1 point

He's not posted any 5h1t though, just said he's not a fan. I don't think you should be bringing personal quotes from private conversations/ correspondence into the public arena1 point

For me yes. Nicholls though tbf guested at Foxhall last year and beat Doyle once and Emil twice and was great value!1 point

Well whatever information you've got, as you said your not going to spill so our opinions of Jen aren't going to change. Everytime I've seen her she's been helpful and friendly to me and my dad , the mysterious posts from yourself aren't extactly going to helping anyone so I'd either just say what you really want to say or nothing at all..1 point

Absolutely correct - the red ‘B’ all over the legs makes you feel abit like you’re tripping and is abit of a design mess. Pawlicki not being there isn’t a surprise at all and has made Rogers look even more stupid than normal.1 point

The basic kevlars are the same but each one is covered in different sponsors, so non are alike. This also applies to bike covers, riders need the sponsors and many sponsors dictate their colours. There are a lot worse things going on in the world.1 point

Swindon fans should put their comments against Osbournes latest application and insist that the fly be night completes the whole stadium as the original planning permission here https://pa.swindon.gov.uk/publicaccess/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=makeComment&keyVal=RWYWO9PT0EE001 point

LR's comments in Thursday's press release. “I’ve seen some of the rumours there that ‘we’re not going to see him’, but it was he who was determined he was going to still be at our Press and Practice next Monday to be with the lads and meet the fans in the evening and then the following week he will fly in to do the Media Day at Belle Vue.“That is brilliant and it shows his commitment to the club; the doom and gloom merchants are out there saying ‘he’s going to let you down’, well no he’s not.1 point

Meet the riders this evening. Piotr Pawlicki will unfortunately not be in attendance however after accepting a late medical appointment to help him with treatment on his leg muscle damage. Those pesky “late medical appointments” are a nuisance ain’t they…..1 point

I think they've done well to have a set of clear rules for the different foreign leagues, far better than what was previously the case. However they've already broken this new ruling with Celina Liebman signing for Workington on a 4.00 average, as she's ridden in the U24 Extraliga should be 5.00. Also interesting to see new foreigners can sign for a Prem side on a 3.50 average. Does that mean the minimum average for foreigners is no longer 4.00 & current riders can drop below that now?1 point
