Shocking decision, lambert anticipated and went should be out5 points

That wasn't strength in depth. That was a stacked team full of quality. The Panthers had 4 numbers 1s riding for them (Chris Harris, Hans Andersen, Bjarne Pedersen and Scott Nicholls).4 points

Regardless what has happened if Cook is focused on his racing he is still a class act at this level. its how focused he is ,we will get a good indicator next Friday on a track he was nigh unbeatable on for a few seasons.3 points

Agree. Good entertainment and not a bad way to pass a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. Reminds me of when the Eagles use to race on a Sunday and the same for Rye House. Alas those days are long gone for British speedway, the future seems to rest with the Poles and who would not enjoy attending one of those meetings where it is packed to the gunnels. Overall an interesting weekend of Polish meetings.2 points

On a general note, it must be awesome riding in a meeting with crowds like they have today. I wonder if those who ride in Poland and the UK feel deflated riding over here. Sunday in Poland in front of thousands, Monday in U K in front of hundreds.2 points

He was at p and p . That’s a start . That alone proved a lot of people wrong and to be honest reading some of the stuff on here if the real Craig cook rides for the season I hope he uses his ability to quieten the doubters and the haters . Never know Berwick could surprise people this season. If the team stay injury free🍀I think the tail end of the squad could be the trump card . Onwards and upwards one meeting at a time2 points

If cookie and kildemand reach top form Berwick could be top four at the end of the season .2 points

BIRMINGHAM: Tom Spencer, Arran Butcher, Sam McGurk, Darryl Ritchings, Max James, Senna Summers, Eli Meadows. KING’S LYNN: Jody Scott, Harrison Rogers, Ashton Vale, Max Perry, Luke Harrison, Calum Mitchell, Cooper Rushen1 point

All the 5 in the back row look pretty miserable but the 3 in front look fairly happy. Maybe the back row had to stand too long for the photo.1 point

Great racing! Night and day difference from the garbage I watched at Birmingham last week.1 point

I think Leicester may nick it tbh… especially if Fricke, Becker and Douglas continue the form they’re in 🤷🏻♂️ if we win then it will be Harris dragging us over the line though1 point

Still not a bad match, enjoyed it and hope Torun is as good. 2 quality teams in 45 mins. 👍1 point

One thing is never in question and that’s Nicki Pedersen’s will to win and I’m sure tungate knows it’s a long season and he has to ride with pedersen a lot of times so better to keep him sweet than not1 point

Dan Thompson guests for Kildemand. Belle Vue: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Jake Mulford Oxford: Rohan Tungate, Erik Riss, Charles Wright, Dan Thompson, Maciej Janowski, Francis Gusts, Luke Killeen1 point

Nothing changes and even Tungate allegedly apologised. Imagine commanding that much respect!!1 point

Would just be a waste of time.Too many ways round payments to riders.1 point

As 3 of those 4 spent time at reserve you could say they had a team of reserves.1 point

Or it was just a watered down league where there was only 2 out and out No. 1’s (Bewley and J Holder) compared to 8 now (Bewley, Kurtz, Doyle, Sayfutdinov, J Holder, C Holder, Woffinden and Fricke)?1 point

Lynn are rubbish, building a team based on strength in depth never works. Fricke will go through the card. My prediction is Lynn 41- 49 Leicester.1 point

Sounds silly but King's Lynn's season is on the line in this meeting, Lose this and it's curtains already, Got to be realistic and say King's Lynn aren't going to beat Ipswich in the KOC so it's all about finishing 4th for them and they're already 0-3 with 0 Points in the Premiership. Leicester are the team that King's Lynn have to hunt down to finish 4th so they cant afford to lose at Home to them under any circumstances because Leicester would have a 4 Point lead and 2 Meetings in hand over King's Lynn. I was expecting Leicester to drop off with Drew Kemp being given a third chance @ No.6 but he's been really impressive this season by getting a minimum of paid 9 in every meeting for the Lions so far. Leicester are the side showing better form but Harris may just drag King's Lynn over the line in a last Heat decider (46-44 either way)1 point

You don't have to be elderly to need a seat, though.1 point
-
Is that supposed to be a joke? If it's not, he's my reply. Pickering's current average (not GSA) is higher than any of the Stars. Plus he was at home. Lynn's only hope was to take points of Tigers bottom end, which based on the first 2 meetings, won't be easy at Owlerton. If it was a joke, made me giggle!1 point
-
At Workington supporters have folding chairs which the use between races and stand against the wooden fence during races. This means that the second row of spectators are about three feet back. It's not even as if they're elderly and need a seat.1 point

All that was announced, was that he was "unavailable". Leicester couldn't start with 6 riders, so had to sign a replacement. Berwick we're in a position to wait a couple of weeks before their first team matches.1 point

Isn’t boughen the youngest rider in that league? And the youngest by 3+ years in the premiership. Scored 10 points in the top league in his first two meetings this year and then an unfortunate crash in his 3rd meeting while on a 5-1 with bomber. I agree he’s struggled since the crash but surely we shouldn’t be criticising just yet? I am a kings lynn fan but following his journey up with you guys. Some of his performances last season was the best I have ever seen in 40+ years of watching and following speedway. He’s 17 with 2 years experience under his belt, let’s give him time and hopefully he will do what I and most of us know he can do.1 point

I don’t really get all the noise about Foxhall being a boring track with no passing. I agree that it does not hold a candle to the NSS but that is purpose built, single use, designed from scratch and funded by the taxpayer. No UK track can hold a candle to the NSS, it’s brilliant. When compared to the remainder of the Premiership tracks, I don’t think it’s any worse and I would argue better than some. Yet again, Louis has spent time and money over the winter making more improvements which from memory is the fourth or fifth set of improvements over the past few years. You can’t fault the endeavour. It’s too early in the season to judge how successful the improvements made over the winter are because the only way you would have had close racing with lots of passing this season so far is if you had introduced handicap racing and given every Aces and Spires rider a five yard head start. You can’t have passing when the home team is consistently first and second into the first bend and even on the odd occasion they aren’t, they steam round or under the away riders. It’s pretty hard getting past Doyle, Sayfutdinov, Brennan, etc at Foxhall once you are behind them.1 point

I thought this team had enough in it to make top 4 at a bare minimum & in theory, it still should. But that is this teams absolute maximum. Absolutely getting nowhere near winning the league again. As said when the team was announced by some, you've got no chance without at least 1 genuine heatleader. Once Harris moves out of the No6 position, none of the others will deliver the same numbers as him. Without a genuine No1, can this team get win at home vs Ipswich, Sheffield & Belle Vue?? To make top 4 it absolutely has to. Results vs Birmingham, Oxford & Leicester won't be enough.1 point

I feel very lucky to be able to watch Emil & Jason week in week out not to mention 3 of the best young British riders out there. We’re also fortunate to have the most forward thinking & professional owner who gets great backing from local business. The future of the premiership at its current level could be in doubt if the rumours about Birmingham & now Sheffield having their stadium sold are true. Emil might choose not to ride in the uk after this season. I plan on enjoying the ride while these top guys are here. What makes it all the sweeter is knowing that there is one very bitter & jealous Belle Vue fan who can’t handle it!1 point
-
Great idea, let’s have a salary cap that forces out your Emil’s and Holders to give the crap at the bottom more of a chance. That will really get the turnstiles clicking in huge numbers.1 point

Let’s get one thing straight. The FIM supply the officials and make the rules. WBD are the right’s holders- in other words it is their gig. They then sell the individual GP’s to the tracks or Federation as is the case of the PZM and the Warsaw GP. Those tracks then sell the tickets at a price they set- and hope to make a profit doing so. Anything you say different to the above is just plain cr@p !!1 point
