Kings Lynn always provide tough opposition their riders mainly go well at Foxhall and can ride the place They may not be as high as Belle Vue in the table but they are miles better then them at Foxhall as they have skilled riders like Kvech and Bomber who can turn their hand to any type of track big or small Hoping we can nick this 48-42 but will be tough3 points

You get the odd late finish but generally its over and done with by 9:30 at Lynn nowadays. If people cant be out later than that as a rule then that's on them not speedway clubs. Those people obviously don't go to midweek football matches, concerts, evening cinema showings or anything else that might deprive them of their cocoa.3 points

Unfortunately the “missing rider syndrome” spoils the fixture again. No credibility in winning anything.Just enjoy the racing.2 points

Absolutely, without Nagels I would fancy our chances but he is a game changer, Glasgow did a fantastic job to get him.2 points

Where the track required extensive work due to the downpour in the afternoon. If it was a normal evening it would’ve been done and dusted a lot earlier…2 points

And there it is, no televised meeting from Lynn is complete without a whinge from our friend from Peterborough 😁2 points

Why aren’t BSN showing Leicester v Ipswich, it would have easily doubled their viewing, rather than this crock of shyte2 points

Interesting idea, but I don't think there's a need for helping teams be stronger when they're missing riders. As it stands there's no reasons for clubs to replace injured riders due to the guest system, if a club had multiple riders missing, this ruling could make them even less likely to make a change? Plus it would be easy to abuse, say you can only get a 6 pointer to replace your number one, would clubs then try & convince a reserve to be ill to allow a stronger replacement in?2 points

nothing meeting this really, because belle vue going to smash everyone in play offs anyway2 points

Agreed. Easily the best two teams away from home and do not rely on throttle jockeys.2 points

Would prefer it if all riders were available but clubs know this when they are signed and are willing to accept it. Poole should have a full team.1 point

Belle Vue announcer had a few negative comments when Zagar re signed for the club…no idea what his beef is …whatever he says during a meeting I wouldn’t hear anyway because the PA system is crap.1 point

so literally anybody can post unfounded and derogatory posts without any comeback at all, sign me up buttercup, I'm all ears😃1 point

Poole could still finish top, but highly unlikely, Glasgow are bang in form at the moment, and could easily have a clean sweep of all the trophies1 point

Take a guess? If there was any truth in it, there would have been a thread ‘Oxford riders not being paid’ before, and we wouldn’t conveniently be hearing this for the first time a few mins after a rider has a tantrum.1 point

I watched last night on LionsTV, excellent coverage as ever. But wished I made the effort to get to Leicester. These are the best two balanced teams in the league and it would make a great final. However Ipswich fans saying Leicester would win over two legs appear not to have noticed they picked up the bonus point and they are let to drop a BP this season.1 point

They all fit in easily with their current averages, if the points limit is the same next season. Just thought I would take a look at the averages after last night's result, and under King's Lynn it has the Oxford averages😆1 point

With his attitude towards British Speedway (especially Plymouth) does he really deserve a testimonial? I think there's too many testimonials now anyway, remember when it used to be 10 consecutive years with 1 club. Because of the points limit, I understand it's hard to stay with a club that long, so I'd suggest 10 years with a club still, but doesn't have to be consecutive seasons. But any rider that misses matches when they don't get a facility, that season doesn't count?1 point

I was in a pub drinking a pint by 9:50 and that was seven or eight miles from stadium. And I stopped for five mins on way out of AFA to talk to someone I bumped into.1 point

Nicolai announced his testimonial last night... will be 15th March 2026 at the AFA. Hasn't really started planning yet but is thinking a four team tournament1 point

This team has always been very capable. Ben's injury, close away defeats an home and away to BV and Sheffield that could so easily have been wins - add a bit more confidence and belief and our season could have looked very different..... If this team all fit average wise again next season, I'd probably take it, especially if we can't attract a genuine no. 1....1 point

i was there too, the meeting Thursday at Lynn did finish at 9:15-9:20 ish 👍🏻 which it usually does1 point

Agree, some people have to make things up to suit an agenda. It was done early as I even decided to go into the bar last week and have a listen to what the riders had to say. Then I was getting a drink from McDonald's at 10pm.1 point
-
"If" that is fhte case ... Then just don't turn up.... And state why..... That way the fans will actually understand and more than likely be on your side.. Turning up and just going through the motions means fans will be cheesed off with you after having paid to watch you ride... And a ban won't make any difference to a rider if they are not getting paid anyway....1 point

Villads Nagel is looking like he will give him a run for his money for best newcomer. Nagel hasn't had the benefit of starting from reserve but has been hugely impressive so far, he can gate, can pass outside, inside and cut back. He's had 7 matches and been paid for double figures in his last 5. Nagel has still to go to tricky away tracks Armadale (1 possibly 2 times), and Wimborne Rd (1 possibly 2 or 3 times) but so far is averaging above McDiarmid - who didn't have a great meeting at Ashfield this week, although unusually despite being taken out of his 3rd ride for Masters, McDiarmid still got into heat 151 point

Someone with a very high opinion of himself... But. Never backed up by results in any league he races in... The track always seems to be a problem rather than himself... Wherever he rides.. Yet doesn't seem to impact the great many who beat him regularly...1 point

I'm not sure you speak for 36 mil poles anymore than I speak for 65 million britons, I've found the Ukrainians in the UK to be decent people on the whole I'm sure there are 5-10% that are unpleasant the same for virtually all races on planet earth. The fact they are fighting tooth and nail to stop the aggressor speaks volumes, most of the other old Soviet block countries left as soon as they could and have zero desire to return to the Russian boot s, if Russia gets all of Ukraine they will simply use Ukrainians to attack somewhere like Poland or Romania next. And I have no issue with Emil or any other Russians riders being let back into Speedway GP. I would imagine 90% of Russians want this war to end and just have a quite life but that's not happening whilst a hundred odd old men from the KGB are running things.1 point

It wasn't IMG/BSI who took the financial risk going to New Zealand and the 2002 Australian GP, but the local promoters as far as I remember. How did the GP actually benefit the sport in these countries? I didn't see any particularly increased media coverage, nor any evidence of increased domestic audiences - then or now. I seem to remember the attendances - at least for some of the Antipodean GPs - were relatively decent but nowhere near enough to make the events viable in the stadiums they were being held in. I think part of the problem was that after the initial novelty wore off, the crowds never picked up...1 point
