The three things that are the most important were spot on. Track , quality of racing and the pace of the meeting the track was very smooth and slick which is perfect for riders starting out in their careers. the racing was competitive and close in the main. yes several teething problems but nothing that can’t be easily sorted lovely to enjoy Saturday night speedway again and the racing looks so much better under lights.3 points

Kvech's had his chance and so has Kai, so no arguments there, but I'd rather have Doyle at the moment as adds spice. Each to their own I suppose. One thing for sure is that the 3 wildcards won't be universally welcomed no matter who they are. 😂2 points

Thats a Speedway meeting.Atmosphere terrific.2 points

Let's go Torun, Would love to see Lublin lose the title.2 points

Magic (from Oxford), is riding for Sheffield in the semi final of the flagship competition over here .. Tells you everything about the status of winning the competition.. Wroclaw got battered by Lublin a few years ago when injuries decimated them... That's sport...2 points

100%, British Fans barely watch the British league so it's fair to say that they wouldn't watch the Polish league. It's only us die hard fans on this forum (Outside of Poland) that follow the Polish leagues on a weekly basis tbh.2 points

TBH it's a shame this Grand Final wasn't on TV over here. Stadium full and riders riding hard is a great spectacle, but getting people to watch it is the issue.2 points

Play offs only attract bigger crowds because of the play off system, which means the league doesn’t really matter. Scrap the play offs and all of a sudden crowds come for the league matches because it’s the way you win the league.2 points

The biggest confidence boost I had from sheffield was the fact that our 1 & 5 beat there 1 & 5 at Sheffield! Which to me means Leicester already have two potential heat advantages lined up for heats 13 and 15. Sheffield of course can still go to Leicester and win but to be honest it's a big ask with Fricke, Masters and Douglas all riding Leicester brilliantly this year and Becker surely can't have a worse night than he did last meeting..2 points

Do like the Heat Format in Poland, plenty of scope for tacticals and changes for Team Managers to negotiate.Very limited in Gb with our format.1 point

Really enjoyed that. Fantastic effort from Torun.1 point

That was a fantastic watch. Fancied Torun before a wheel was turned but I wasn't expecting that lead, Surely Torun will finish the job in the 2nd leg.1 point
-
Agree but one can only dream that it could happen.1 point

Excellent I hope Torun can beat the money men1 point

Banbor put up a good fight in that Heat. Torun are too fired up and they can sense the golden opportunity seeing how much Lublin are struggling.1 point

The next junior is 22nd, Przyjemski often beats top riders in Ekstraliga too so I think you are doing him a disservice with that comment,1 point

If only this was shown on u k television. It would show what a spectacle it is and it might give impetus to those in charge to make more effort. Alas the sport cannot compete on so many levels but the opportunity exists if they have a mind to.1 point

Spoke a tad to soon i reckon lol1 point

Dukek back too his best.IMOHad a good season.1 point

Let’s not forget Leicester have been beaten here by Birmingham of all teams! Also lost against Ipswich here more unsurprisingly, so they can throw in a ropey home performance now and again. Janowski a good guest for Morris too. Some strange things can happen in play offs.1 point

All Sheffield need to do is gate, trouble is none of them can. Yet another Beaumont Park borefest looms...........1 point

As a Speedway fan that league set up has just lost one supporter. How much would you charge to watch that? It’s currently £10 to watch NDL for 7 riders, personally couldn’t justify anything more to watch that set up. Just my opinion 🤷♂️1 point

They are supposed to be 'wild' cards and not simply the next three after 7th in this years' competition so I have no problem with Becker if he was picked. New faces I'm all for.1 point

Becker as a pick is utterly terrible, obviously it’s financially beneficial in some way having him in.1 point

I'm struggling with this restructure, Mayfield have been involved for a couple of years now and frankly have been out of their depth. Just how or what will improve I don't know but this could just be a slight of hand transfer of risk to move liabilities and create an opportunity to jump start the "positive" side of the GPs and give them breathing space. WBD had a torrid start with Covid which in my opinion killed their plans and enthusiasm for their overall global strategy, even their broadcasting platforms are still work in progress.1 point

Sheffield have struggled around Leicester as of late. Leicester to qualify for the final in comfortable fashion.1 point

It was won by the Seychelles-German rider Mario Häusl, ahead of Poland's Maksymilian Pawelczak, and Belle Vue's German rider Norick Blödorn.1 point

Wouldn't bother giving Doyle another PWC, all he is likely to do is injure himself or another rider... Fricke is worth another PWC. If no Laguta & Sayfutdinov... I think I'd give Parnitskyi & Cierniak a go, they'll finish 14th & 15th but so would Kvech & Huckenbeck. Woffinden got a pick in 2011 and struggled badly was frankly uncompetitive... dropped out in 2012 but qualified for and won 2013. Who's to say Parnitskyi couldn't do the same.1 point

I generally dislike Jack Holder, he's not at all interesting to watch as a rider & comes across dumb in interviews... but every rider touches the tapes once a season & most celebrate winning a heat in someway.. the video is bit pathetic.1 point

The three wildcards will be Luke Becker, Mikkel Michelsen and Max Fricke…so the whispers say. 😜1 point

Heat 1 Bomber misses the gate and can make no impression on the three riders ahead of him . Later on his usual self . Dont remember many passes after bend 2 in lap 1 until the latter heats . Thought Flint was riding inches from the fence in heat 14 to get any drive . Whatever the reasons for bringing Meredith in , we can all see the track was better before his arrival1 point

Taking half a meeting to adapt to track conditions isnt acceptable at the business end of the season. Did the Glasgow riders mis-judge the track walk, did they ask for it to be ultra slick, did they even know what they were getting beforehand? Whatever it was it can't happen again, we have some hefty points deficits to claw back in our next two home meetings. Its all very well bringing in Andy Meredith to boost our GP or SGP2 chances next season but if it is affecting our core product its a no for me. Lets prep the track to suit our riders wherever possible, its brings the best out in them and allows the racers to shine.1 point

The championship league hold all the aces, they stand together and they can control the way things go,I would love to regularly watch grand prix riders at poole but that's not going to be possible in british speedway anymore, need a structure that works for british speedway and that won't include gp riders,if bv and ipswich got to have them, then just have to race against each other1 point
-
I thought Jack Holder was excellent for Tigers, he didn't get the points for his efforts and left it all out on the track, not bad for a GP rider with an Ekstraliga final coming up to put that kind of effort in for a tin pot league championship. I've said before, I quite like his cocky arrogance when he's won a race, it gets a reaction from people.1 point

I don't know what you paid but my last ticket for Cardiff was £23... same as a league match!1 point

Maybe they will give Tai one as his last "throw of the dice " for him on the world stage to get closure at least at GP level !1 point

Ipswich won’t run a Thursday night, they only run on Monday bank holidays so naturally Leicester will get the Monday at home and Ipswich will end up with Thursday before hand for the first leg. Absolute shambles once again from Speedway, they will put it down to the weather and take no responsibility about sorting out more fixtures in summer months. We’ve had hardly any rain offs this summer so it would have been perfect to get more done, but we wait until crap weather comes in September and also try to cram it between the Toruń SON which starts in September as well. Add on top of that the fact the league didn’t even finish on time shows how much of a joke it really is.1 point

With you on that one.Just hope the Championship Clubs don’t fall for it and tell them where to go .1 point
