Looking forward to this and hoping the tie will still be alive after the first leg. As a Lions fan I have a feeling that Dan T could haunt us now that he is back in a reserve berth. With no TS options available, he could still have seven rides if he’s on form. Couple this with the fact that his brother Joe, based on current form, may not beat an opponent home or away, which may give the Witches the edge. Hope I’m wrong but it looks like we will be carrying Joe again which makes Ipswich slight favourites in my opinion.

100% agree, they had a game plan about team riding and it worked, didn’t break each others line or ride like individuals which was the downfall of other teams! Deserved it totally!

He also said "nothing teaches you like riding abroad & getting a hiding", GB guys rode as well as they could, got a good heat win in their last ride, will defo learn from the experience & so do better next time. Regarding Lambert apparently not recognising PC, Ivan once made an unannounced & unintroduced visit to the Hull pits, Craven Park era 2000 or so, after talking to all the riders one was heard to remark "who was that bloke & what does he know about speedway ?!". As it happens, Ivan knew quite a bit about speedway😉....

Why does Kelvin keep making himself look daft by announcing riders in wrong gates? He keeps referring to the programme... We at home haven't got one, so have no idea who should be where anyway... He should just inform us who is in which gate when they appear on screen...

It’s a craps Pairs simply to stop Poland dominating everything. No wonder the Poles don’t turn up.

Is it time they split out the U21s from the whole SGP/SGP2 structure and replace the SGP2 with something more akin to the SEC? SGP2 then becomes a place where your Huckenbecks, Kvechs, etc. ride. Maybe they can offer a full SGP spot for the winner/top 3 (balanced out by a relegation spot(s) from the SGP). This way, we can find out how good a rider is amongst what would theoretically be the top 16-30 in the world. It also offers a nice route for the likes of Parnitskyi, Przyjemski, etc. to experience a season-long competition without being dumped into the GPs. They could even have it on a Friday night before a GP, offering something meaningful and competitive for fans to make a weekend of it.

To speak about John Louis and that he wouldn’t put up with management, riders and fans is such a pathetic comment and you need to wash your mouth out. John Louis loved Ipswich and would love to see Ipswich win as much as it pains you, but get over it. His name is adored in Ipswich and not just amongst speedway fans, he is a legend of the town and will be honoured in the Tigers meeting a week after the final. Why do you think John wouldn’t love Emil (most friendly guy in speedway) King and Doyle (dedicated to the witches), Ellis who he would have a laugh with, Brennan Edwards and Thompson who are bright young British riders which always made him smile.
