Looking forward to this and hoping the tie will still be alive after the first leg. As a Lions fan I have a feeling that Dan T could haunt us now that he is back in a reserve berth. With no TS options available, he could still have seven rides if he’s on form. Couple this with the fact that his brother Joe, based on current form, may not beat an opponent home or away, which may give the Witches the edge. Hope I’m wrong but it looks like we will be carrying Joe again which makes Ipswich slight favourites in my opinion.

100% agree, they had a game plan about team riding and it worked, didn’t break each others line or ride like individuals which was the downfall of other teams! Deserved it totally!

That's unlucky. Correct decision but unlucky the bike caught the dirt like that.

He also said "nothing teaches you like riding abroad & getting a hiding", GB guys rode as well as they could, got a good heat win in their last ride, will defo learn from the experience & so do better next time. Regarding Lambert apparently not recognising PC, Ivan once made an unannounced & unintroduced visit to the Hull pits, Craven Park era 2000 or so, after talking to all the riders one was heard to remark "who was that bloke & what does he know about speedway ?!". As it happens, Ivan knew quite a bit about speedway😉....

Did you actually watch? GB had a plan with Lambert on the inside and Bewely on the outside every time, worked well. RUSHEN for crying out loud. If somebody does then brilliant, a nice problem to have.

He was a thoroughly professional rider and promoter, - traits which his son picked up and continues, and expects from everyone associated with the club. After the fiddling by Morris in 2024, the Regulations have been followed correctly this season. Sheffield fans are remarkably salty - why can't they accept that the cut-off was reached before the fixtures were completed? They didn't complain about finishing third a couple of years ago, when their team then went on to win the Grand Final. The reason the Tigers aren't in the Final this season is because they lost against Leicester - that's really quite easy to understand.

If it were not for the bizarre exclusion earlier Poland would surely have been on the rostrum ? Ref missed the opportunity to exclude all 3 riders in a heat where none were even at the tapes with the countdown clock on 0 Thats what I dislike about refs - inconsistency.

Polish averages are the best marker to see how a rider is performing. Unfortunately, there is no new riders under current legislation that can be brought into the series that will improve the quality of the field. It has become a borefest but crap track preparation and a rubbish scoring system do not help.
