You won the double had a chance of a treble, but you Poole fans want a big shake up. I really can't work out what more do you guys want from the riders? They gave it their all. It's sport, sometimes you lose and in most cases you won.10 points

Apparently Toby is out of hospital. Nothing broken just a bit battered and bruised.5 points

Still no update from the club about Toby, sure we shall hear today, hope all is ok. Watched the meeting back, great watch with some good racing, Jody was fantastic. Still disappointed that Richard couldn't make the effort to come out for his medal in front of his fans! seems to be a trait at times in the past for him (press days) when he thinks he is bigger than our club, be professional at all times, if we won gold he would have been on the centre green. Will asked 'where is Rich' with Danny and Middlo on the stage and all looked back at the pits, I hope Matt has a quiet word in his ear as not good enough in my opinion. Again well done to Redcar you deserved the trophy.5 points

Just got back. Well done to Redcar no complaints from the Poole fans. Such very very fine margins. If poor Tobias had made it over the line Pirates would have been celebrating the treble. Just one of those nights but I feel the team were complacent. Special mention for Jody Scott who put it all out there, an inch from the fence. Certainly a rider on an upward trajectory. Redcar got a very warm reception from all the Poole fans when they went over to their fans after heat 14. Poole fans really are the best out there.5 points

Absolutely, it's just a pity that his back was so sore that night that he couldn't turn up at Ashfield and prove the internet doubter trolls wrong. On a more positive note it's fantastic that his back improved so much overnight that he could take part in the individual meeting at Poole the next day and that he was well enough to get second4 points

With Phil Morris in charge of track prep, boats wouldn't be out of place...3 points

5 teams won’t work, surely they know this, at this rate by 2027 we will have the equivalent of the Oxford/Cambridge boat race3 points

Round the boards podcast..? He was definitely interviewed on there and said about changes in the championship and that he wanted to go back to Glasgow but didn't think he could be fitted in.3 points

Jody was the best rider on show, real grit and never give up attitude. As a spectator that's all you want to see.3 points

Massive well done to the Bears. They were clearly up for the challenge last night. Congratulations to Gabin Parr and the Redcar Bears. The Pirates were not at their best last night and maybe the playoff final was where we reached our peak. All the best to all Speedway fans of all clubs over the winter break. Looking forward to the return of Speedway in 2026.3 points

Have the club been concerned enough to release a press update? I'm not sure what you expect the rest of us to do? Ring the hospital?3 points
-
well done Redcar, they deserved something this season A great club3 points

Completely agree I hate any restriction on how you build your team obviously apart from the actual team limit. Im guessing Dan will be still looking for a championship team spot think going back to Plymouth would be a step back in my opinion, think he could end up at Scunthorpe.2 points

Yes definitely top performer, he was superb, nearly crashed and still almost beat Kerr. Very pleased for him, seems a nice lad who is going places, great to watch him attack the track. Not a great night for us but Redcar deserved it, they were all up for it and rode well.2 points
-
And we wanted him back. It should be personal choice how a team structures their line up.2 points
-
I think there is a difference between style & entertainment. having seen two riders at either side in the same team Jem Doncaster making starts with no motor & riding around in a lounge chair with Armando Castagna all action full gas & hanging of the bike like an epelectic spider.2 points
-
Well done Redcar, didn't see that coming at all. Jody really has developed nicely this season, really pleasing as a Lynn fan and fellow Norfolker.2 points
-
It's unprofessional and he should be teared off a strip for it.2 points

Not at all, why should eye2 points

We needed a good number one and number 5 , but neither position impressed this year and come heats 13 and 15 we were consistently poor. Got to change that as next years priority.2 points
-
And into another one by the looks of it they called another ambulance to take him away... better than a shopping trolley I suppose 🛒2 points

But Thompson looked slow in heat 12 when Kerr picked him off. So did Howarth in heat 13. This season, Howarth had been absolutely outstanding for Tigers in last heat deciders. It's easy to pick the riders after the event, but I think that picking Howarth was the right call. Clearly it didn't work out, but there is no guarantee that picking Thompson or Flint would actually have worked2 points

Redcar have had a good season think they were unlucky with Riss health issues, they were a very well balanced team with Eric.Things might have been different with him for the whole season.2 points

Won't be the normal pilots fans on here tonight. Well done to the 🐻 🐻 Jody Scott well done and a 85% vote for rider of the night2 points

Quoted as it highlights the financial position of the sport Here's a stark comparison which shows the gulf with football 10 miles from Ipswich is Needham Market. They play in the Southern League - effectively the 7th tier in the English game Yesterday they opened a new stand which cost £358,000 to build funded primarily by grants provided by the Premier League (£150k) and Southern League (£100k) and other agencies including £10k from local councils The stand apparently holds under 300 fans but would accommodate most of the average attendance. The game last night attracted their record attendance at 11052 points

The rolling stats don't include fixtures after the end of April. Official team building stats should include them.1 point

Redcar have been great all season really, if they had had a fully fit Riss they may have had a good chance of all the trophies. Jody Scott had a great night, he was superb. Gavin Parr seems a really nice guy and Redcar fully deserved it1 point

I can remember John Cowboy Cook having a brief stint at Lynn possibly back end of the 80's and he had some cool white leathers with black tiger stripes1 point

Doesn't matter how a team qualifies, wouldn't have been wrong if Poole won imo. I am however delighted Redcar won. Agree that whoever signs Rushen will be massive favourites for the league in 2026.1 point

You really are tedious1 point

Great to see Redcar claim the victory - a well deserved reward for a very good season 😃1 point

Howarth was a beaten man after Heat 15. They should have tried one of the other two in the superheat imo.1 point
-
Congrats to Redcar. Great to see the team deprive Poole of a clean sweep. Watching Jody Scott ride was brill, all over the track both inside and outside. One to watch next year for defo. Also great to see what it meant to Gavin Parr, well done to all involved!1 point

Congrats to the Bears, you deserved it, fantastic team effort. Worked hard all night, we didn’t ride as a team at all.Tobias sadly, been watching it for the past 2 years and the aggressive handlebar turn caused that fall tonight instead of turning it smooth, silly move from Lawson in heat 13 and rightly excluded. Heat 14, why didn’t Zach coming out the second bend wait for Starke, instead riding 3.5 laps then on turn 4 lap 4 tried to slow the race down, should have done that from turn 1. Why wasn’t Lawson out getting his medal? Poor showing if it was gold he would have been there. Well done Redcar you deserved it tonight. Will be glad to see the back of some of those Poole riders. But on a plus the double isn’t a bad season at all, we simply run out of steam. Special mention to Jody Scott, what a trier some of the Poole riders could learn from him and glad to see Danny and Charles up and ok after heat 13 wipe out.1 point
-
Oh dear, how sad, never mind.1 point
-
Charles is a shoe in sort of said in SS that he’s not going anywhere, I’d try to keep Jody Scott at all costs and ace deserves to have another crack but with him having a 4ish average may miss out1 point
-
Poole fans what a disgrace walking our before the end of heat 15…… Said it before the fan base are fickle and can’t handle losing Well done Redcar the track awful and what was Lawson playing at I just hope Cooper Rushen does not go there next season it could ruin his career1 point
-
Still no fireworks. No wonder the Poole fans left early1 point
-
Well done Redcar. Congratulations on the BSN cup. No complaints we had run out of juice.1 point

Its not often I agree with people on here but I can't argue with any of those points. Track needs to be set up better definitely. On countless occasions this season I've found myself saying, "there's no outside line". Im wondering if a certain young Dane who attended the memorial meeting has signed for us.1 point

I am not a Poole fan but I am fed up of the jealousy on here. Poole look after riders well, but they do not pay /package close to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Plymouth. They offer more matches, a winning mentality and pay very quickly. Matt works on his team well in advance of others and he has no shortage of riders wanting to ride there, equally they have riders who know they can earn more per point elsewhere.1 point
-
When was the last time he completed four laps and finished last? This can be costly if another rider then pulls up when the score is tight. As I have said before, I’m surprised Dickson tolerates this. Out of respect for the paying public, riders should be completing four laps unless there is a genuine mechanical failure.1 point
-
You are probably right. Can't understand why he appears to be Poole bound. Surely he would learn more - how to overtake experienced riders , how to use different lines, how to ride grippy tracks etc - by choosing a track other than Poole.1 point
