... and if Belle Vue do get "knocked out" of the "knock out cup" they can still do the business against Leicester on Monday to get back in? Oh no, hang on a minute I'm confused 🫤🤔4 points

To be fair, on Monday it was said he was "really poorly"... Not just "poorly", but "really poorly"... Who knows he might rise again on this Sunday? At least Bomber gets an early April run out... He went through March without guesting... Edit. Next Friday is his first Wroclaw match, and he did miss yesterdays "sparring match" for them....3 points

Very valid question I work in investment markets and have a feeling if this isn't sorted in next 3-4 weeks (latest) and the oil will need to be flowing again ourselves and Europe are going to have major issues possibly on a par with covid lockdowns. Diesel is going to be a problem outside of the Gulf two main sources are the US and Russia , Russia has three big diesel processing plants and Ukraine bombed two of them last week so you can see the issues coming down the chute. One old fool and his delusions of power really has f--ked the entire world up pre war Iran controlled roughly 4% of world oil they now control 20%.3 points

Looking forward to seeing Stars in action. To me there seems to be plenty of entertainers in the team. That’s great. A few years ago there were those who disappointed on that score. No names, no pack drill. I can accept defeats (we’ve seen a few !) but if riders try all the way, I will clap and support. I like to be entertained so if you win the race, pick up the flag, wheelies, wave but no straight back to the pits unless extenuating circumstances. Because of where I live, it costs me thousands of pounds to see the Stars each year. No complaints on that score but I do love telling people what a good night it has been. This year’s team looks set to deliver. Well done to Keith, Rob, Dale and the KL speedway team. Cant wait to get trackside. Boy was it cold for Nicolai testimonial.3 points

Edinburgh will easily finish Top 4 well balanced team. After watching Dan last Saturday he looks like he will go up another level our loss is Edinburgh’s gain. I am away for a lie down now after that prediction2 points

There was a post on Facebook a couple of days ago explaining that logging in to BSN through the web browser on a smart tv no longer works and you have to use a laptop, tablet, iPhone or stick to log in. For some, that will be a complication too far, especially as many clubs’ streams can still be accessed through the web browser.2 points

kye Thompson in for blodorn + no Kurtz, its started already 2nd best for premiership, always will be. and thats for all the top riders in this league.1 point

Great showing from Sheffield. Last few races Bewley dug in deep but the result was done and dusted. A sign of things to come from BV away or was Sheffield just too strong? Etheridge will be a real trump card at reserve what an absolute steal on a 3.00 average1 point

A comprehensive, but not unexpected, win for the Tigers with only Bewley putting up any resistance. A good work out to get the season underway.1 point

Belle Vue built to win at home and hopefully nick an aggregate bonus point here and there. Struggled around Owlerton for a few seasons now1 point

Obviously Harris is no replacement for Kurtz but Brady only scored 4 and 9 at Sheffield last season and Blodorn 2 and 1 so they aren’t huge losses Aces clearly weak as usual away from home1 point

But it is still the knock out cup... but in a new innovation, in the best interest of the sport... you just don't get knocked out, simple, everyone's a winner 👍🏻😁1 point

A good rest by missing Polish & UK fixtures should see him ready for the Easter weekend. Thank goodness, we need a fit and winning Brady.1 point

Thank you, I would not have posted unless I was sure and the source has proved reliable in the past, I do believe someone will probably take over the lease, providing the lease is able to be Transferred, I am no businessman but allegedly SIS do have charges against the lease and it would be in no-ones interest to see Oxford close.1 point

Could be bad news all round but sincerely hope not. It's early day and still time for some sort of resolution so isn't this when the BSPL should spring into action with some sort of contingency plan. Don't leave it until the eleventh hour, start discussing/making plans now starting with the worse case scenario.1 point

Everyone? Anyone with half a brain can see as things stand Edinburgh will not finish last and will poss nip into the playoffs.1 point

Yes I think we all do. Unfortunately we are staking the sports future on a group of people who want to keep their cash registers ringing at the expense of the younger generation who will be forced back up the chimney.1 point

It is possible that SIS is closing Greyhound Racing Tracks purely for financial purposes after the rise in gambling tax. The Remote Gaming Duty has risen from 21% to 40% as from yesterday. William Hill will close over 200 betting shops due to this rise and could further affect Horse Racing throughout the country. So not only SIS but potentially ARC and all other forms associated with betting.1 point

He won't be in any heat 15s for the Foxes, so should be able to get away early each week.1 point

Well I enjoyed it. It was great to relive some of those old memories of clashes between the two sides. Dan Thompson and Jody Scott put on a great show for the Bees as well as Bomber's usual 100% showing. Sam Masters was untouchable for the home side and it was great to see Erik Riss back to the sort of form we all know he's capable of. Thank you Oxford for putting this on. The Bees ain't dead yet.1 point

Well... that can very much depend on what brand of TV you're using, some will require apps to be installed on the tv and/or phone from the companies own app store to enable sharing, not all TV's will allow screen sharing/streaming "out of the box". If it's an android based or main stream TV you should be okay... if it's one of the Chinese brands that's where things could start to get tricky.1 point

now I'm no geek but i am not totally thick when it comes to the modern world!!...i have a Android phone and i have a SMART tv....now excuse my ignorance how do i stream phone my phone to my tv?1 point
-
And if you don't have a streaming phone or laptop? As I'm sure many older users probably won't. It may not be new to you... but it will be for many users, myself included, as BSN have said themselves that if you used to watch on a browser that may not now work, hopefully it will. They should really keep the existing system in place until the new one is ready or they could be asking for trouble at 7pm on Monday night.1 point
-
Normally in IT project rollouts you keep the existing system in place before switching over to a new system, not turn the old one off and offer a "Heath Robinson" solution to users until the new system is ready 🤷♂️ No, you initially did a Google search for BSN and then added it as a bookmark for easy access in the future... beautifully simple 👍 Currently I have no idea whether\how the first stream is going to work... or even if it will work, faffing about with laptops and HDMI cables is no great is it. Fortunately I'll be at the first streamed meeting live so I'll be able to watch it back at my leisure... but I can see a lot of folk having a lot of problems come Easter Monday!1 point
-
Odd, seems more complicated to me to have to use a browser. What do/did you have to do, type the URL using the remote control and an on-screen keyboard? Painful.1 point

I guess it depends which forecast you look at. Netweather only has rain between 4 -7am! Hopefully it will be ok.1 point

IF the promoters aren't taking the sport seriously, then why should the fans bother turning up at all ?? Teams signing riders who they know will miss meetings sums the sport up. It's basically Mickey Mouse. No wonder the TV companies have washed their hands of it.1 point

But Luke has been improving steadily, and goes about his racing quietly and has not been hyped up as much as others . Hopefully the young kids will kick on and be medal winners for team GB in the future1 point

Pull the other one.Nothing wrong with giving little back to the sport that gives you a years salary for 5-6 months work .Many are overpaid for how they perform.1 point
