  1. I dont condone what jye did. He shouldnt have done it. But let's not go there with the minor angle. Play with the big boys. You get dealt with like a big boy.

  2. Some riders come out of retirement to ride in benefit meetings. Craig doesn't have a team place. so fair play to him for honouring Jay's memory.

  3. Give it a rest ffs. Plenty other threads to air your pathetic grievances.

  5. Should imagine the rule makers will be summoning Etheridge to explain himself. Throwing a punch at a minor carries a severe penalty.

  6. I think Berwick should be kicked out of the competition for what Etheridge did In the first running he had another rider kick out at him In the second running he was taken wide and fell 50/50 incident But for Jye to get up and throw 7 or 8 punches at another rider was disgraceful…. Does he not know the other rider is only young?? How dare Jye be infuriated to this level If only Jye had walked over to Rushen and just slapped his shoulder then every speedway fan could have understood his frustration and nothing more would have been said ….. even Rushen would probably have laughed it off But what Jye did was nothing more than assault and really takes the shine off of the win …..

  7. Always nice too see the Scottish clubs do well and I include Berwick’s performance also. Now I’ve got the Praise for the Monarchs off my chest I’m away for a lie down.

  8. Looking at the heat 10 incident unless Cooper has eyes in the back of his head he can't possibly have known Etheridge was there, looks like Rushen moved out as Kerr went to the kerb just as Etheridge was attempting the outside run. Just one of those unfortunately. Certainly not a 'disgrace' and Cooper incredibly unfortunate to be chucked out. Etheridge made himself look a proper plank afterwards.

  9. I can’t pretend to be impartial, bandits through and through. But other than being delighted with the result. Rushen is a serious talent, someone needs to help him cut the dirty riding out though. Clearly kicking other riders and in 15 he absolutely tried to bin PK mid bend. Someone with less experience may have been serious hurt. The kid has the talent to be the next British world champion but he needs to cut that crap out.

  10. Good hard riding from young Cooper, Jye just couldn't find the outside gap he wanted. Throwing punches at a rider who was on his bike was disgraceful although it was a rubbish punch.

  11. If you show the first running of this heat you can see cooper clearly kicks his leg out to stop jye getting over him into the corner, before riding into the side of him and crashing the ref asked to see it a couple of time and maybe gave coopet the benefit of doubt in that one and maybe thought about that when making the decision about the rerun

  12. Well done to Berwick on a great all round team performance, they were much better than us and seemed to want it more, we were a little unlucky home and away with refereeing decisions going against us but overall we had no answers to a very good Berwick team. Good luck to them and hope they win the cup.

  13. A local YouTube historian, "A walk with Phil" has produced a video of the site of the old stadium. He has also walked what would have been the old track. Phil, by his own admission, only went to Dudley Wood once but produces many videos of the black country, referencing what used to be on the sites in days gone by. I've enclosed a link, hopefully some Heathens fans and speedway fans in general, might find it worth a look.

  14. Can see him carrying on at Championship Level giving the form he is showing and the League is not going to get stronger.

  15. Been twice to Poole whilst down there working. First time I saw Scott Nicholls (Leicester) fall and the Poole crowd cheered, second time I went Bomber (Rye House) fell and again the crowd cheered, a guy sat next to me and cheered and laughed so I asked him why they do that before they even know if the rider is injured, his answer was "it`s something we do and don`t care if the rider is injured", so I told him what I thought of him and he didn`t speak to me again 😂

  16. I don't watch BSN so didn't see the original running, but that exclusion was a complete non-event. Rushen moves slightly wider to avoid his teammate, he doesn't even run Etheridge to the fence. Can you imagine Etheridge in an Ekstraliga first turn? I know he wouldn't be within 50ft of any other rider, but if he thinks that's hard riding...!

  17. Think we need to calm down a tad, we were outridden in both legs and we can rue this and that but at the end of the day with low scoring reserves and heat leaders not performing we aren’t going to win. Berwick fully deserved the result and I have already sent my congrats, cooper was unlucky yes but would it have changed the outcome I don’t think so. Riders have to earn a living so riding in other leagues and countries is a given. We regroup and move on to the next match.

  18. He didn’t try and punch him he slapped his shoulder …. Words straight from Rushen no less … the boy took it well Poole fans going way over the top as usual

  19. Congratulations to the Monarchs who thoroughly deserved the victory and were possibly value for a little more. Gladiators simply never got going. Only led once as I alluded to in the commentary and looked off it all night. Incredible support from the Monarchs fans and great to see the riders acknowledge that at the end. Great spirit between all fans at the end mingling and talking. Close competitive sport, good crowd, great weather - it's what it's all about. The Coliseum has once again served up a thrilling end to proceedings, shame the home side were on the wrong end of it this time around but still so much to play for. Scott Nicholls - Incredible performance. Ran out of adjectives for him.

  20. You really are a complete nob! Insead of accepting and praising Berwick on their 16 point aggregate win, you choose to belittle the final because your Money club who are afraid of the top league haven’t qualified!! Poole fans really are a ‘special’ breed!!!

  21. He’s in front and not touched him. Jye gone for gap that was constantly closing. Standard of refereeing is getting worse as the years go on.

  23. Agree regarding Rushen incident ,while he did go out wide Jye wasnt along side him at the time decision could have went either way IMo.Certainly no intent. The 1st running was more Controversial IMO.

  28. My hope was that this season the speedway authorities would bring in someone INDEPENDENT to go round the tracks, talk to riders, fans and officials to bring in some radical changes for next season. Speedway is unfortunately on its knees and needs a radical rethink. We may not like the plans, but some speedway is better than no speedway which is where I feel the sport is going.

  29. And in a Semi Final of the Knockout Cup too... You would think they would at least try when they get to this stage to give it some kind of respect.. Anyhow, good luck to both teams in the final, hopefully both can run with their own riders and give UK Speedway a Cup Final worthy of the name... It would be great to see Plymouth absolutely rammed full, which I think it could well be....

  31. At least I think we can all agree that the Part Time Pirates defeat is completely down to Chris Harris and Simon Lambert and in no way attributable to contracted riders who decided not to bother riding for them👍🏻

  32. Throttle goes both ways is one of the craziest statements in speedway. Roll the throttle off mid bend and see where the bike takes you.

  33. Absolute disgrace from Rushen. Not watching the meeting, so haven’t got a clue what happened, but won’t let that get in the way of a good opportunity. Ban him from the meeting!

  34. Sorry if I upset you by telling the truth, I was totally astonished that the seated stand did this, the first time this happened I just thought it was a one off, but when I went down a few weeks later and this happened again, that`s when I asked the man next to me who actually was encouraging his grandson to do the same.

  36. Have to question having various events on a Saturday (doesn't help some teams). Pairs, British Final and riders championship all on a Saturday isn't going to help teams with fixtures (possibly causing fixture delays as you mention). Pairs and riders championship usually a Sunday, British Final could be any day (Berwick have meeting with Edinburgh removed from fixture list due to British Final).

  39. 100% yes 👍 SGP 2 no rounds held in the UK, not even televised... and he stands little chance of winning it, could easily have won the KO Cup had the Part Time Pirates been full time committed. Why as a so called Dorset Pirate would you care what he does individually?

  40. We missed barker tonight rr didn't really work for us.

  41. Well that went well! Good luck to Berwick in the final. From Poole's point of view the stars just weren't aligned, and the Bandits were better. No complaints from me.

  43. Shows how entrenched the club vs country (or any other fixture) mind set has become within the sport in the UK that the commentator has been going on about Will Cairns in the SGP2 all night and Havvy was singing his praises... all totally normal and accepted, not even a thought as to why he's not riding for his club that provide him with a full league, cup and BSN Series calendar... should he wish to ride in them 🤷‍♂️

  44. Well done to Berwick, you deserved it and what a fighting spirit. Good luck in the final. Maybe Matt will finally do something now, with his business head on a final against your local derby team and a big crowd guaranteed for the club would have been massive. Oh deah.

  46. While I totally agree with what you say, and I know you are a verging “ stat” man, someone who can win heat 1 would help as well 😂. Totally agree he has been a godsend, and when Charles got injured not 1 person really disagreed that he was the best replacement available.
