Hard riding?..yes.....dirty riding?...not in a million years! Some of us who have seen more sunsets than we would like to admit, back in the day you would get 3 or 4 instances like this in one meeting, however if there was instance of dirty riding, it would certainly kick off either on the track or in the pits, or the victim would have a notepad in the tool box with the culprits name on it...then in twelve months time fans would think "jeez that was a bit uncalled for".6 points
-
I canāt pretend to be impartial, bandits through and through. But other than being delighted with the result. Rushen is a serious talent, someone needs to help him cut the dirty riding out though. Clearly kicking other riders and in 15 he absolutely tried to bin PK mid bend. Someone with less experience may have been serious hurt. The kid has the talent to be the next British world champion but he needs to cut that crap out.4 points

You obviously think everyone transports around like in Star Trek. Why not ask your teams promotion what they would do if the fixture was at Poole, my guess is they'd do exactly the same. Look at your esteemed fellow fan Mr Shovlar, he moans about clashes when AFCB are playing.3 points

Another cracking Vlog from Dan T.... You really see the unconventional lifestyle these lads lead.. And the costs involved, especially when your van blows up!!!. Interesting he mentioned the need to lose weight, especially for Poland.. He must weigh the size of one of my legs.. Just needs a season of no injuries and he could become a true top level rider, as he definitely has a capability level higher than most... If you haven't seen his Vlogs on YouTube yet, then give them a go... He did say others are now doing the same?... The more exposure for the sport the better....3 points

Just in case you have forgotten, it's Northampton v Ipswich tonight, so get back over on that thread3 points

I never watched one Scotland game with Steve Clarke in charge, he.would struggle to motivate an illegal migrant to apply for benefits such was his lack off motivational skills.3 points

Heat 15 Lee and Betts against PC and Mort .. now that would be decent race around the NSS3 points

Iām thinking Brennan & Musielak will be the first on the team sheet for 27 & Iād be quite happy with that.2 points
-
Especially changing Fixture to Semi Final of Cup. IMO they thought they would trounce Berwick in their Home Leg,but Lawsonās mystery injury threw a spanner in the works and it backfired on them.2 points
-
Fair play to Musielak there, rode his nuts off. Track very difficult to pass on but he made one, and nearly a couple of others.2 points
-
Poole were always at Berwick. It was originally a league match.2 points

It's not looking good for the Foxes now Thomson is in the main body of the team... and the track prep is nothing short of atrocious!2 points
-
Leaving the prep a bit late... ref is supervising, people walking around with buckets picking stuff up... that doesn't seem normal. Incoming shambles? š¤2 points

British Speedway does not need our youngsters to gain experience from the best in the world, especially at Will Cairns level. We have a gold medal winning GB Team, that rarely rides in the UK, we have a recent world number 2, and a real contender this year for the title itself before Dan Bewley's accident? and a fairly recent 3 x World Champion, yet the sport has continued to sink lower and lower in this country. We need our riders to be turning up and riding for their contracted teams before chasing personal glory. Assuming you're a Pirate, I don't know why you're so happy to see your club, and cup holders, crash out of the competition thanks to no shows from some of the team members š¤·āāļø2 points

You have provided video evidence of him kicking Jye and then stated he doesnāt? Are you trying to gaslight everyone?2 points
-
Good to see Shovlar showing us the video of Rushen kicking out ā¦. He made as much contact with Jye as Jye did when he āassaultedā Rushen ā¦.the way Poole fans are speaking (ban for Jyeā¦.. assaulting a minor) really does show a lack of understanding totally2 points
-
Stupid decision. The game will be over by 7. Open early at kick off and let fans in the bar to watch the match on a big screen. This shows you the promoters who run speedway have no clue 2 short planks springs to mind.2 points

The kind of post too often missing from on here these days. Let's put all our tongues back into our cheeks....2 points

Stars would have more chance with Michael Lee and Terry Betts turning out for them tonight. Two racers who would do well on the racers track that is the NSS . Where last to first is more than doable2 points

The intent was there thou, How many of the other riders have there leg like off the start?2 points

Hereās the first running of heat ten last night. Cooper Rushen doesnāt kick Etheridge at all, just outgated him and Etheridge falls. All four back fair decision.2 points
-
Correct. Ideally you pick him up after one of his bad seasons and on a cheap average, when youāve built a strong team and challenging. Glad to have him of course, but does seem a bit of a waste this year if you get my drift. Average will surely be a bit more hefty next year.1 point
-
Tis true Iām afraid. Everyone is different I suppose and youād hope that wouldnāt be the case. You get paid what you score at the end of the day (unless youāre on some kind of guarantee) but he does seem to need to be motivated.1 point

Was anybody expecting anything different? I suspect even the Lynn fans half expected it also. He was never having another stella year there.1 point
-
As he said in his interview, thereās certain A list clubs that you want to ride for, and Ipswich is one of them. A happy Musielak at a good club is a fine rider. Itās when heās at a club that isnāt particularly well run that he loses interest pretty quickly.1 point
-
Brennan really is in a rut., not talking about the track, but his form. I'm guessing his confidence is shot with lower scores than expected week after week.1 point
-
Lynn are just cr@p ain't they! Be back to the strength in depth next season haha1 point
-
Makes perfect sense as it was your weakest pairing left to give us some distant hope. The fact Cook flunked it isn't on Lyon.1 point
-
Already dust bowl, Brennan gives up at the back, the first of many tonight, this track offers nothing.1 point

Just edit your original post and it allows you to edit the title š1 point

Cheap budget flight from Newcastle or Edinburgh to Bristol then Falcon coach from airport to Plymouth. If I had to, this would be the first method I would explore.1 point

Was a lot of good racing yesterday, the talent level in GP's is incredible. Watching the Moto 2 race it struck me the level of the riders who can't get into the top 10 there let alone into the premier class. Somebody like Tony Arbolino who is an amazing motorcycle rider finishes 17th and is only 12th in the 2nd division Championship just shows how high the standard is. Bezzechi's crash was horrible to see, amazed that he was sitting up after that one. Marquez and Acosta are going to be fun to watch next year, there'll be some tension in that garage. Can't wait for the end of the ride height devices.1 point

I have been going to Poole since 1985. I have never heard anyone say what you have said you heard. In general Poole fans are plenty, knowledgeable and fair. For it to happen twice in your two visits is frankly ridiculous. You over egged your made up story.1 point

I dont condone what jye did. He shouldnt have done it. But let's not go there with the minor angle. Play with the big boys. You get dealt with like a big boy.1 point

Should imagine the rule makers will be summoning Etheridge to explain himself. Throwing a punch at a minor carries a severe penalty.1 point

Always nice too see the Scottish clubs do well and I include Berwickās performance also. Now Iāve got the Praise for the Monarchs off my chest Iām away for a lie down.1 point
-
Congratulations to the Monarchs who thoroughly deserved the victory and were possibly value for a little more. Gladiators simply never got going. Only led once as I alluded to in the commentary and looked off it all night. Incredible support from the Monarchs fans and great to see the riders acknowledge that at the end. Great spirit between all fans at the end mingling and talking. Close competitive sport, good crowd, great weather - it's what it's all about. The Coliseum has once again served up a thrilling end to proceedings, shame the home side were on the wrong end of it this time around but still so much to play for. Scott Nicholls - Incredible performance. Ran out of adjectives for him.1 point

Cook looked good however missed his last ride and then packed up his gear .1 point

The truth is that modern super-tuned finely-balanced machinery has ruined tacks like Ipswich. The rapid pick-up when the throttle is opened, plus the unpredictability on other than perfect surfaces makes them far less suitable on smaller tracks. The behaviour of these machines is resulting in more high-speed crashes (Jack Holderās is a prime example) - previously that would only happen if the throttle jammed open. The riders are to blame for that incessant need to āimproveā, yet all theyāve done is increased costs for everyone.1 point
