Redcar must have serious questions for their riders, they've just been beaten by what was virtually a three man Berwick team.7 points

Depends on your definition of boring. Season after season of gate and go but some fireworks and a shiny trophy at the end of each season, or season after season of meetings with most meetings worthy of season finale standard? Your trophy cabinet might be bursting but your track is far from anything to be proud of. Success at the cost of the sports integrity.5 points

Poole get biggest crowd in Champ, so they will do whatever gets people through the door. Who has the best track in the Champ? Worky? And their crowds are low. So you can have good racing but unless the team is winning, people will not go!4 points

It’s also helped you quite a bit with the riders you have used covering for Bowes. Every team has been missing riders, it’s why it’s quite often a guest fest these days.3 points

So Rowe of Sheffield guests FOR Ipswich after guesting AGAINST them for Leicester in the previous meeting His performance in each meeting will potentially affect who makes the play offs and in which position (including his own team) Just as well it means the lesser part of feck all in the scheme of things2 points

What's the difference between Vatcher and Nicki? Take out the 3x World titles, 4x World Cups and countless individual achievements, there's very little in it.2 points

GB really are not at the right level, Dan Thompson is clearly not 100%, Leon Flint seems competitive but we will just have to see how things pan out. It is a shame that the crowd is so poor. Why can this sort of meeting not be held in the UK. I am sure the influx of foreign riders would generate more interest than is seemingly the case in for example, this venue.2 points

Didnt Rosco recently say he had a business consortium ready and prepared to 'step in'? Not sure if he meant the Abbey or the Swindon Motorsports site?2 points

I am more than happy to keep winning,I don't want to watch Cami Brown celebrating in the George pub ever again!2 points

Poole have only ridden 2 matches at home where their opponents have not had a guest …… can’t moan about your riders missing2 points

When did we win the play offs without topping the league prior to the play offs? So you say Poole sponsored play offs but we would have won anyway and in 2023 when Glasgow beat us in the play offs, we topped the league table that year too. The plays offs are terrific entertainment and a great end to the season.2 points

Well that was a cracking meeting, didn't really expect to win, but I will take that. Freddy was great, looked aggressive in his riding for a change, expensive night for him, heard he burnt 3 clutches. Kevin was annoyed at going through the tapes, it happens. Sam, what can I say, feel for the lad but he really has lost his way. Bomber and Leon fab, have got us out of a hole last 4 meetings. Thanks to Anders Rowe and Anze Grmek for guesting, done a fair job. For Poole, Cairns was very fast out the traps and I would have put him in heat 15, was impressed with Lightcap, very good points and exciting to watch. Hope the Poole fans have a pleasant journey home, managed to say hello to bluekevin at the end.2 points

Reid had a full seven rides tonight. Jye would have been a better T/S than Victor though.1 point

I'm definitely in two minds over the league playoffs. Logically we have a league, a knockout and a hybrid competition(BSN) three different formats kind of testing different attributes of a team. So maybe it should be left at that? BUT the playoffs give us more club speedway to watch and like TheWellBehavedWorall says has dealt up some outstanding finals, last year at Ashfield and the year before at Wimborne Road. So on balance let's carry on and enjoy the playoffs.1 point

I said I didn’t rate Rowe, based on seeing him race several times. What’s wrong with that? I was delighted with his contribution last night. Thats the beauty of sport; it’s a game of opinions.1 point

People have been saying the GB speedway has to go back to basics to develop young talent, but it looks along way off and a hard road.Brennan,Flint and Thompson were hopefuls but it’s slow going for them.1 point

Yes they certainly have some racers who have the desire to succeed but the rest are really so far behind it is painful to watch. Thankfully we can watch meetings from Poland and see those European riders who want go the extra mile. GB speedway is the dinosaur of European racing. Get rid of those in charge and start thinking outside the box but it won’t happen because to most in charge it is a hobby not a business or a competitive sport it simply satisfies the egos of the club owners.1 point

Reality check for Brits. Now Dan T should concentrate on Uk instead of sitting in the Pits in Poland.1 point

This is dreadful from GB so far. Even when we gate we don't seem to know where to ride. We shouldn't be having much trouble against Sweden outside of Henriksson.1 point

Both Killeen and Wood are Courtney guys. Lets be honest, Berwick have only the KOC to race for now, so why waste money on expensive guests?1 point
-
Why would he want to ride in our dying league when he has better opportunities, better racing, better sponsors and better lifestyle riding in Poland where the sport is ran far better and by much more competent people. This is probably his final push before he feels he's getting towards retirement. Good luck to him I say.1 point

If Batch gates he will likely do well as you really have to bust a gut to pass anyone around here, I like Tate and how he rides, stick it on the kerb like he normally does and should do well hopefully.1 point

Regarding fan numbers, I was at Scunthorpe last night and estimate the crowd to be around 350 ish, whilst the Workington crowd is 450/550 I would guess ?1 point
-
That made me remember Workington winning the treble…..then what happened? Makes you wonder.……If Poole was in Cumbria instead of being a busy south coast resort, would they have the same following? 🤷♂️1 point

No tac subs- 16 programmed heats and 4 nominated- 4th highest , 3rd highest, 2nd highest and top scorers.1 point

Batch looked to be very much on the pace last night at Scunthorpe and was backed by Kemp and Tate Ziscke and to a lesser extent Jonas, hopefully Worky can get the win tonight to get us off the foot of the table.1 point

Good riddance to this man who has destroyed many a track and the enjoyment they provided, just to feather his own nest.1 point

Maybe Sheffield can bring him in for the Play Offs?.. Long Term injury dispensation for J Holder??... Better for the sport than using Guests...1 point

Interesting info about tomorrow’s Gorzow v Torun match. Probably won’t happen but if Gorzow win and get the bonus - will need 53-37 or more victory they will go above Grudziadz into 5th and be able to choose their play-down Semi opponents.1 point

Some cracking Speedway in this meeting with Comets playing their full part. 12 down after 7 Comets fought back well in the middle part of the meeting but Scunny came strong in 14 and 15 to bag all the points. Palm Toft with probably his best meeting of the season and reserve Nathan Ablitt with a match winning 9 points seen the Scorps home. Comets reserves had a tough night which was the difference really. The scoreline perhaps flattered the Scorps a little as the racing was generally very competetive. UTC !1 point

Well i'm not surprised but still disappointed that the line up appears to contain no one you cant see any day of the week in the UK. Hopefully the last few still to be announced will make it special. 🤞1 point

Since Doubling Up became the rule, rather than the exception, Guestfests have become the norm... When riders rode for one team only, and got injured, or were unwell, meaning they may be out of seven days or so, they had more time to be ready for their next meeting... Nowadays a rider injured on Monday can need a Guest replacement on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday... The lack of UK rider development, particularly in the 2nd tier as foreign journeymen after journeymen got brought in via a revolving door, has simply led to too few riders...1 point

£500k of work needed was quoted in the Speedway Star..... You would think, say £3k to £5k rent from the Speedway each meeting, a fair nunber of times per season, would make it much more viable...1 point
