  1. Willy waving. But if you can watch a meeting at home without having to use a load of time and petrol why would you not?
  2. I think the likelihood of Kerr being released for Andersen is incredibly slim, you wouldn't make a change at all in that case. The Jakobsen rumours are strong so I expect him in for Monday. Klindt probably doesn't cover Iversen's scoring but heat leaders are thin on the ground, so it's a very limited market. He's certainly a lot better than R/R and guests here and there.
  3. Who's claiming a miracle? Stop making things up! It's a realistic assessment considering Ipswich are likely to outscore Lynn at reserve and Doyle won't drop many if any points. Doesn't need King and Batch to be amazing for that to all amount to somewhere near 46 points.
  4. Whichever of he or Jorgensen are getting the chop can't really really 'stick two fingers up' as they've both been poor. That's for illness rather than injury.
  5. Yep if Doyle goes through the card again or comes close and Starke goes big then Lynn could struggle.
  6. Unfortunately I just don't think he's got what it takes. I thought he might kick on this year signing for two clubs who are always very good at home but he just hasn't and the bad rides outnumber the good which is a pity as he looked a fine prospect at sixteen.
  7. It's an odd one. With all due respect to Kasper he is either the cheap option or a last resort. Perhaps the club have given up on 4th despite what they say in press releases?
  8. Big blow. Starke should have a field day at reserve.
  9. Prepare it slicker and that's the kind of racing you get.....load it with grip and its follow the leader garbage like recent weeks. Wonder what we'll get Thursday......
  10. Presumably his Bydgoszcz fixtures are done.
  11. A few weeks ago a friend of mine stated that as well as promoters fans are also contributing to the decline of British speedway......at the time I disagreed, however after reading all the negativity and nastiness on here and social media both last Thursday after the SoN semi and last night I think he is spot on. So many speedway supporters are utterly embarrassing, fawning over their favourite riders and unable to take a step back and look at situations objectively. Name calling, unpleasantness, bickering....its like the school playground. The farting about while it poured last night was typical BSPL and unacceptable for the poor buggers there watching, but they eventually came to the least unsatisfactory decision.
  12. Why? Ellis actually won a completed meeting and didn't get the chance he earned because Cardiff didn't happen. It's the best outcome of a crap situation for me, and I don't have a preference towards any of them particularly.
  13. More racing in four heats tonight than four meetings at Vojens last week. Tom Brennan really does look the real deal.
  14. Nobody cares about loan fees to Poole.
  15. Rain now from 9pm according to the Met Office, hopefully they get on with it as much as possible!
  16. Absolutely, particularly with some Polish clubs finishing their fixtures and more riders becoming available.
  17. There was definitely an issue with it on Friday evening after the event as I couldn't watch it on the app despite being signed up/in.
  18. I'm sure those who were there yesterday are right that the track was blameless on this occasion but if the stats earlier in the thread are accurate about numbers of falls, injuries and time taken for meetings then the authorities need to be working with the club at the very least if they aren't already. Mildenhall is my second nearest track and having a small daughter for whom evening meetings aren't really practical a Sunday afternoon visit to West Row at some point appeals, but not if its going to take three hours and riders are getting carted away every week.
  19. Presumably because he has his final Extraliga match for Grudziadz this weekend. Let's hope it doesn't get rained off and he comes through it in one piece!
  20. The number 8 is only really to cover the Rising Star and R/R but I take your point, anything which could reduce the number of mix-and-match guests would get my vote. My own team.has been built to always have a heavyweight reserve but if that rider got injured and had to be covered by our number eight then thems the breaks.
  21. So presumably for Thurs 1 Pickering 2 Worrall 3 Klindt 4 Jorgensen 5 Lawson 6 Kerr 7 Edwards/Thomas then Jakobsen at 6 for Monday week
  22. Two more injury withdrawals today.....
