In fairness its just one poster having a moan.

Well done to Hagon but it was five decent riders, him and not a great deal after that.
-
Somebody has to finish top and somebody bottom but in a ideal world everyone would win the majority of their hone meetings with good racing to keep the home punters happy. What people will soon tire of is clatterings on home shale where the away team rocks up and gates their way to 55+. We've had plenty of those at Lynn over the last few years Some have suggested that away wins might be at a premium this season and I hope thats right. The same for injuries, rain offs and therefore guests & R/R would be nice too.

Maybe the riderssigned represent the best of who actually want to ride in the UK? It's all very well people talking about Zmarzlik, Laguta and Dudek but if they don't want to cone then it means zip.

Without wanting to nit pick I'd say Kerr is stronger than Cook and Flint should be the best number seven in the league, and that PB should suit him much better than MG. Without doubt Brum are the seventh best team on paper and a good season would be to win more home meetings than not, can't see any away points unfortunately. What is vital is that there is a good team spirit and togetherness, and that the foreign based riders show up every week. Few injuries and a consistent hone track week to week will also help. As I've said elsewhere the Brum home meetings for Lynn appeal to me as much as any due to seeing different riders, and the last time PP and Milik rode at the AFA they were a great watch, fence scraping and overtaking etc.
-
I can only speak for myself of course but seeing some different riders will make me go and see Brum this coming year, Milik and Pawlicki have been good value at Lynn in the past.
-
Weakest of seven as expected but PP and Milik are riders I'll pay to watch. To be really competitive and not finish bottom they are going to need a couple of the bottom four to have a breakthrough season.
-
Comparing any top two with Ipswich is daft, they will be the best pairing by a million miles.

6.32 according to the signings thread.

I'm sure there are but it would be preferable to get over there earlier on a Saturday and be well rested for Sunday. Or to be there for practice on a Saturday. A no brainer considering he has got his foot in the door at Wroclaw and it's a case of staying with Redcar where he did so well last season.
-
Quite a difference if you plan to be available for Poland on a Sunday afternoon.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
Bagpuss replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'd say the riding order almost picks itself....MPT/Wojdylo at 2, Tarasenko at 5 and Basso/Iversen either way round at 3&4. -
Let's hope he doesn't shaft anyone, we'd rather see him in full flight. I'm sure once he throws his leg over his bike for the first time he'll be well set. Nobody will be board
-
Look forward to seeing him dart round other riders.
-
Tight from 6th-10th!

I think I went Lynn and Leicester in my prediction thread post, therefore a top four of. Ippo, Sheffield, BV & Oxford.
-
That's the one! Cheers
-
Don't see them as champions but all things being equal they are play off certainties I'd say.

Better than the Twitches top two?

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

There we are folks, it's there in black and white.....taps thinks we're gonna win the league -
I don't imagine Buster is involved in day to day stuff like that. Although ultimately responsible as the bloke at the top of course. That's encouraging, will make sure my relative got all the details right in that case!

A family member has e-mailed King's Lynn speedway about a ST and, guess what.....no response. Speedway really doesn't help itself sometimes.

Championship Predictions 2024
Bagpuss replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Injuries ruined the end of that season but cest la vie. The point was that teams can sometimes look dreadful yet just click. Swindon did it too in 2017. -

SGB Championship 2024 Confirmed Signings
Bagpuss replied to bloom89's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I'd suggest every one of those riders is either injury prone, unwilling to ride Championship or on their way down. If Liebman had been signed and frozen out a genuine British youngster who is ready for the challenge then fair enough but I don't think that's the case. I think she is one of the most exciting signings of the winter, along with Worky's other two new ones!
