  1. IF he has been banned for 28 days as suggested then he won't be riding for Lynn tomorrow anyway.
  2. When he makes the start he is as quick as anyone and has beaten some big names so I can understand why the club have persevered with him. However two Young Stars in Luke Harrsion and Jody Scott are riding superbly at the moment so I'd expect one of them to get a go now.
  3. He's not daft, he will be well aware that Boughen is throttling off and completely in the wrong head state to compete properly at the moment. Like others have said Ashton needs to somehow get back into the third division, get a psychologist on board and sort out his issues because the current status quo is doing absolutely nobody any good whatsoever.
  4. Harris has been in the game long enough to understand why clubs drop riders.
  5. And lots of non weak links. He was one of twelve current GP riders in the 2023 meeting and top scored out of everyone. He is generally very, very good at BV and has been for years, but he needs to raise his game considerably from the first three rounds to do well there in a fortnight.
  6. He's scored big points in lots of meetings there that weren't British Finals (including two SoN's) so a bit of an odd comment.
  7. You are usually ITK Phil and I don't doubt that info was accurate at some point, but Luke was on our podcast last Wednesday week and said that he is waiting for the call for a RS position as he feels he's ready. Probably would be but sometimes in sport you have to be ruthless and Cairns has the potential to be much, much better than Mulford very quickly. They'd be daft not to get him in if he wants to do it.
  8. Janowski is but always scores well at Lynn so I'd imagine he wasn't interested rather than not been asked. Ippo must have approached him surely.
  9. While I take the point that Lambert hasn't been good this year, Kerr hadn't been either yet rocked up at Lynn and hit paid seventeen. Never underestimate a rider who knows the Lynn track well and how to set a bike up for it. Add to that Lynn being as consistent as school custard this season and it really could be any score either way. But I agree with taps, we will never have a better chance to sole our local rivals.
  10. One word.....entitlement. Good to see Phil has several in his keep net including the biggest fish of all ๐Ÿ˜
  11. Part of that was the fantastic big red slurry spreader which was used to water, meaning they always got plenty of moisture into the track. You wonder if the lesser quality of shale nowadays is a contributory factor.
  12. He's clearly not putting in anywhere near 100% in the UK so no thank you.
  13. Tac subs shouldn't be allowed for the home team anyway IMO.
  14. If he wants to do Prem I'd like to think Lynn have him lined up to replace Boughen if/when required. I've long since thought we shouldn't be letting average foreigners ride here until all Brits who want a spot and are good enough have been employed.
  15. Would disagree, the two Danes were paired together early in the season as they tend to ride well together, at least two heats would feature them both with Niels at 5. Also thought Kvech and Lawson have been decent as a pairing.
  16. Paying for Riss or Cook almost certainly wouldn't be. If there were other teams not riding I'm sure they would have booked a guest. They really can't afford to lose at home if they have any designs on 4th.
  17. Pretty dull thus far. EDIT nasty one for Doyle ๐Ÿ˜ฉ
