  1. There's a bigger picture than that though. Looks awful that we don't have priority over riders on our designated race night. And it means more bloody guests
  2. Not for me, Zmarzlik forced a hole that wasn't really big enough for him to get through IMO. Lucky boy to be in the re-run.
  3. It looks like the kind of track where its difficult to know exactly where to ride in any given heat, and the set up must be difficult to find as a result. Meaning some good racing. Work to do for Lambert & Bewley.
  4. As for Kileen, he has a lot of talent but needs to learn that you don't score points if you don't finish races or miss meetings through injuries. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery and coming back a bit calmer.
  5. As long as they see the job through and didn't motivate Scunny by overdoing it! Perhaps they themselves were motivated by Mr Peasley's posts earlier in the week
  6. I would also suggest that having a good sponsor takes the pressure off having to make early calls. I'm convinced that most early postponements are due to promoters being petrified of paying for air fares, rent etc and then either nobody turning out because is cold/damp or the meeting being off anyway. Speedway has spun itself into a web where most can't absorb the financial hit.
  7. If it was his first ever visit then I'm not sure 'he should do better' really. Would you really expect him to beat any of Ippo's top four?
  8. Brennan for Pickering http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31339
  9. So either it was genuine damage to the pit gate or the SCB are part of the conspiracy. At least it was 'investigated', didn't expect it to be.
  10. If that's the case then it would be surprising in the slightest considering the people who run speedway here and the way they do it.
  11. Dear me. Don't think I'll be bothering with the BSN feed, I like my sport to have a little more unpredictability.
  12. As well as the risk of a reduced crowd I expect clubs/promotions don't want to risk flying riders over for a rain off and the costs incurred by that. These early decisions are becoming more and more common and I'm pretty sure it's all about costs.
  13. Possibly Edinburgh too although you'd always fancy them to get enough home wins to avoid it. Top six looks pretty clear already unless changes are made by those three clubs or any of the other six sustain significant injuries.
