If Glasgow where to get promoted would they look to change their race night to avoid clashes with GPs and other continental meetings , would fans be as keen to turn up in numbers on a weekday evening , it would certainly affect the amount of traveling supporters attending meetings

I'd say the crowd was kind of what you'd expect given the opposition and that there was very little but bragging rites up for grabs due to,the league status of both clubs . Shame really because they missed an entertaining evening

Just how would you explain this situation to a newbie to the sport , someone you've taken along for the first time ? It's all fine and well trying to stop teams from trying to pull a fast one , but common sense needs to be applied IMHO once again speedway has managed to make itself look like a Mickey Mouse sport
