At the same time I hear on the news because of the new variant hospitalisation are going up quickly, deaths a bit more slowly. Also read on the news at lunchtime, in USA they relaxed on wearing masks but instances of cold and flu going up. Think I will be wearing a mask come the winter, that’s if we not wearing already.

I was really impressed by Tom Brennan’s performance last night. I would think Dan’s best bikes were in Poland. After his early rides I did think he wasn’t going to get through. Luke Becker impressed me as well.

Comparing Tai to Kolodzeij is a bit odd. Tai was a youngster when he was in his first go series, Kolodzeij must be in his 30’s, maybe 32? Just checked he is actually 37. He has had 2 full GP season, 2011 and 2019, finishing 14 th both times, despite the win in Czech gp in 2019. In that year he was down at the bottom with Lindback. I like Kolodzeij style of riding, all I saying was 2019, and I know he won a GP, the rest of the year he was mostly rubbish. I know he has a good record and been Polish champ, which is really good considering standard of racers in Poland, but 2019 ? Why has he not appeared on the World team championship in the last few years? Seems his really good years were early-mid 2000’s.

But he was rubbish last time he was in the GP series, which wasn’t so long ago. He is like Lindback was, brilliant or rubbish.

What is it with Kolodzeij, when he is on it he is brilliant, otherwise he is tail end Charlie.

I had problems, logged on ok at 6pm, the time it stated it was open and all I got was FIM logo and Starting Soon. 6:35 I sent a message via their contact list, got a quick reply saying stream will start 20 minutes before tapes up, didn’t know what time tapes were going up. Eventually got picture half way through rider announcement. Was ok until first batch of adverts came up, after heat 4 I think, vision but no sound. Because of the accident we’re at tractor grading, so see how second half goes. Haven’t a clue what heat were on, no graphics to say whose at the starting tapes. A downloadable race card should be available with the stream. Hope this accident break counts as the interval, I presume ambulance has gone to hospital and waiting for it to return. A good race track so.. Not 100% for the stream tonight, more the admin behind it. Camera positions are ok.

Nagyalasz looks the easiest round but that gets 4 through!

Slight difference in class of riders between a GB championship meeting and a SpeedwayGP qualifier. I know it doesn’t guarantee better racing, but you paying to cover costs of getting 18 riders from different countries and other running costs.

Well if that is Scottish fans it shows why some parts of Scotland are on more sever restrictions then others, and like England their end of restriction date has been put back. If people want restrictions lifted they got to act responsibly to get figures down, just follow the guidelines. Easy

That is worrying. To have access to Eurosport 1 and 2 and not be able to see speedway. Next year Speedway GP needs a new tv platform as BT won’t have the contract, Eurosport COULD take over, you could pay to view Eurosport and perhaps not be able to see it. Certainly something to be conscious of.
