Wasn’t a spanking. Was merely giving them a false sense of excitement before the real stuff kicks in

Surprising Tate still struggling for BV when he rides this good for Worky. Wonder if the crash being at BV is weighing on his mind. Understandable if so.

Nothing to do with the crash. If the crash was affecting him he would back out of close contact and throttle off. He’s not done any of that. Just lacked track craft and slow.

Well, I’ll eat my words. What a performance from the comets today, out of this world.

Good to see Tate has got his mojo back heat 5 was superb. Antti flying again but no complaints about any of the 1-7. Bowes is getting there and riding at 2 will help him.

Its good to have Saturday night speedway back.

Shocking start for Pirates. Completely wrong setups and outgated in two heats with Vinnie finding it easy to pass our reserves. Mountain to climb.

So much for the Poole fans, especially one, saying all season that Cairns won't be under any pressure

Glad to be proved wrong...a great team performance by the Comets team who all looked up for it from the start and all worked hard for every point.

A good boost for the Workington management , staff and fans after recent weeks.

Well done Worky.

Well did not see this result coming at all, but very happy days 😁 solid scoring by all the comets to deserve the win,I hope more comete fans return next week to cheer them on.

as for the pilots imo a couple of worrying riders, kerr very up and down, and the new young hope, cairns, well imo I think he is doing too much riding too soon, Thurs Sheffield Fri Edinburgh stat worky and very few points scored, hope all the Poole fans enjoyed watching on the stream 🤪

Well done to the Comets, thoroughly deserved. A bad day at the office for the Pirates but that's speedway.

Expect a backlash when the Comets arrive at Wimborne Road in two weeks.

To be fair to Ford, most teams would settle for 5 out of their top 6 upping their starting average. I can understand  some fans being frustrated, but it seems like Starke is doing his job, looking at his average. But i don't watch Poole meetings, so can only go by averages, and not the eye test.

Start..  Lawson  9.17.    So far... 9.86

            Cook 6.23                       7.38

            Kerr  7.76                         7.39

            Rowe  6.11                        8.43

            Thomsen 4.41                 5.45

            Starke   3.36                    4.07

Kerr is the only one, but is only 0.37 under his starting average.

as a team they are doing just fine looking at those averages.

im sure 99.9 % of people expected a poole dominant win

but it wasnt

ive always a lot of respect for poole in some ways always build a good team

however some poole fans really let there team down very poor in defeat

away defeat by a home side that had a lot to ride for and there wanting riders sacked

even poole cant win them all

Easily Tate's best performance of the season at the GT Tyres Arena. Looked like the 2024 Tate today, really great to see him racing so well again.
