What about Northampton?

That doesn’t even make sense, no work at the stadium will even start till a deal has been done to run speedway otherwise you’re paying for work for someone else, any work done at the stadium has been for the stox

Not correct Dean, work going on that benefits the speedway because if it doesn’t happen in time for this season then it needs doing anyway as they will run next season

Thanks for responding but that’s not really an answer! I’ll try and put it another way. The yes/no decision (whoever is making it) will presumably be based on where the project is as a whole, so what needs to be in place by the decision date?

Availability of required materials/fencing needed to make it a speedway circuit in time for the season start or shortly after has been one of the main things, not just the actual track but other things such as changing rooms, referees box etc etc. Ensuring there was rider availability to put out a competitive team was another.  Backers and finance is there, willingness from the stadium owners is there

And i thought the Witches 1-6 was getting on in years.

24, 47, 39, 32, 40, 22 and Edwards, who says speedway is a young man's game🤭

29, 31, 43, 28, 24, 15, 19 👍🏻 Witches and that likely Northampton team make the King’s Lynn team look young! 🤣 Cooper obviously turns 16 at the end of this month

This has been put up on Northampton shaleway Facebook page, saying new hospitality suite but could be a refs box 🤔

That building is on the bend and quite a long way from the track. Would assume a ref's box would need to be overlooking the start line ?

Good job that advertising has gone out all over Northampton telling the good folk of Northampton that a new speedway team is happening in their area 🙄

And yet, here you are.

The amount of moaning that five teams is not good enough, makes a mockery of the sport...a sixth team looks likely to appear and STILL moaning. 🤦‍♂️

Why on earth would they do that until they’re actually sure they’re running? I’d imagine the advertising and promotion of Northampton Speedway would commence ONCE they’ve got the green light to run, not before!

Pretty bizarre gripe from you again which seems to happen a lot lately 🙄

It's all part of the slow indoctrination process that is regularly used by conspiracy theorists.

Thanks don't know the layout of the stadium, but it does look like it could be a refs box

The most telling thing to me is that in Poland , that would be a bog  standard toilet block so to speak. They must look at the state of speedway over here , the stadiums, tracks but most of all the organisation and pi*s themselves.
