PhilTheAce
Well, in the words of Fabrizio, "HERE WE GO" ipswich have had the upper hand in the league phase but that now means nothing, belle vue go into this under no pressure as everyone thinks Ipswich are winning easy, i dont think that myself, i keep banging the same drum but this is what belle vue do, look dreadful in league outings and then show up in play offs, just hope the same happens again, For me this will be won or lost on Monday, id be looking at a 12 point win to take to ipswich, Weather wise it looks OK, although to early to tell, things could change
MP78
There are lots of differing opinions about Ipswich's loss last night, but the key thing for me is that they currently have no momentum and some riders look out of sorts. They really will need to do everything they can to keep it as close as possible, because BV's top 3 will be flying, so that's 30+ points in the bag already - If Cook is on it too then suddenly it's a mountain to climb. Should be a great couple of legs for the neutrals 🤪
Gavan
We have comfortably beat Belle Vue over 2 legs everytime this season but now that counts for nothing Belle Vue are the only side in the play offs that could beat anyone by 20 points at home The thing is they can’t ride Foxhall as well as the other 2 in the play offs but if Cook and Blodorn can get 8 between them at Foxhall we might be in trouble Also Kurtz must surely have one eye on the GP….. if he gates at either track he won’t be caught but at home he can take more risks as he has wide open spaces to make moves … if he misses the gate at Foxhall will he bust a gut to try and overtake ….. not saying he won’t ride his hardest but it has to be a concern
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Belle Vue will win their home by 16-20 I can see this one being the time Blordorn finds his gating gloves and one of the reserves puts in a 6+ night
ShanoXtra
My question is, is Brennan at number 5 a big risk? Just seen the line ups and I’m not confident of him in heat 13. Why Doyle is now a number 3 rider I don’t know. Emil takes 1 but Doyle should be 5. Too many movements for the Ipswich rider positions recently has killed all momentum. This could be lost by Monday night for us. Anything bigger than 50-40 and I think it’s done, especially on our current form.
SPEEDY69
I agree and make Belle Vue favourites over two legs. King, Ellis and Thompson have dropped since earlier in the season, with Doyle, Emil and Brennan inconsistent and I think the Aces will do it when it matters.

Kind of crazy to think about when in the first month of the season everyone was saying Ipswich were going to win every meeting!

Very poor display last night - again. IF we don't like a slick track why prepare it like that - Yes yes the rain, but I'd rather see a meeting postponed with it being prepared how we like it, rather than watch another meeting slick track, resulting in a loss and lack of excitement If the riders were holding back, then that is unfair to the paying public. Clearly, with the low attendance, some clearly saw this coming. Crunch time now, results are wiped and the 4 teams start from the same place. Just can't see us progressing. This great team, riding for the last time together are going to falter.
Rob B
The timing of this coming upto final GP for Brady Kurtz is bad for Belle Vue. He will say he not thinking about GP but is only human and it will be in the back of his mind and won’t be taking any big risks.

ShanoXtra
Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but for me, next year if it’s similar league set up I’d rather see Rew back in the team than Ellis or king.
mikebv
The Aces' Polish contingent normally turn up with their Polish kit for the play offs... I can see Tate having some "different" kit too... Still clearly Ipswich's to win given their advantage in averages for the team they put together at the start of the season... However, with that clear favourites tag, can come great pressure... As a genius once said... "Its squeaky bum time"...
foreverblue
Definitely Its the Witches to lose, Belle Vue's bottom 3 have been poor this season, Ipswich have a much stronger team but you know Belle Vue will turn up, Ipswich may not, it happened in the cup earlier in the season. I think Doyle at 3 is a risk, Brennan at 5 at his old track maybe too much pressure for him, hope he is fresh and ready to go, I remember the play offs at Oxford for Poole when he only got 4 points, he could be vulnerable. Gavan
Putting Brennan at 5 is huge risk Is this Ipswich trying to nullify Lidsey a bit? Comes up against Doyle twice and Emil once so maybe Ipswich hoping that they can restrict his impact a bit …. But it leaves us vulnerable in other heats

Closest they came was 18 against Sheffield, but on average they have only had just under 10 points home advantage over the other 3.
TTT
I've lost all confidence in the Witches side as of late, Haven't been right since the night they lost to a King's Lynn side that featured Simon Lambert in the 1-5. If Adam Ellis continues his recent dire showings around the NSS and Brady Kurtz remains professional instead of thinking about the GP in Vojens then Belle Vue could build up a very healthy lead. I think Witches will be a different proposition next week than they were last night.
