You dont like to joke about a persons injury but edwards in place of jenkins has been a huge bonus for ipswitch the last couple months.

I think a fit Jordan would be doing a similar job

Jason has been superb though

Agree - its also been nice to see Jordan in the pits talking with Jason  / team mates too - both have very similar averages and both are a wee bit better away from home which is a bonus in a way as often R/s are never as good away from home as at home!

I’m sorry but this just isn’t true and I disagree with Taps here for once. Edwards has been “ok” at best. Certainly wouldn’t say superb. He was outstanding against Birmingham, but that was an exception rather than the rule. He’s had some dreadful meetings. Yes he’s a rising star and nobody should be expecting too much, but he’s now one of the more experienced rising stars and has been riding fairly well in the championship.

Jenkins didn’t start the season fit. He then had further numerous falls which completely ruined his season. Often riding through the pain barrier and being strapped up to the eyeballs, he’s tried to battle through it before another fall made him call time on his season early.

Despite this, Jenkins from his 13 meetings has still averaged MORE than Edwards has from his 18 meetings this season.

Certainly isn’t any kind of “Brucie bonus” to have picked up Edwards instead of Jenkins. Definitely fortunate though that he was available to fill the vacancy I’ll concede that! The other options would have left Ipswich badly exposed in that area.

When it matters, in the play-offs, he has so far been good, 4+2, 5+3 and 6 - clearly outscoring his opponents, I don't disagree in that he has had one or two bad meetings - needs a good 4-6 score tomorrow as well but I feel saying hes been just ok is a little harsh on him!

I believe Ellis has a high potential of riding Thursday. Doyle stated Ellis is ok and hoping to ride and 30 mins ago Ellis posted this. With Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood playing in the background, if you don’t know the song it plays… (I’m happy, feeling sad, I’ve got sunshine in a bag, I’m useless but not for long, the future is coming on). Cryptic much 😆

Leicester would be overjoyed with scores like that from our no.7.

I think Edward’s rides better under pressure.  Doesn’t panic or make mistakes which I’m not sure you can say about Jenkins who appears a bit more accident prone.  Would Jenkins have beaten Becker?  I doubt it.

Edward’s is a slow burner IMO.Think he is well in control of the bike and can pull off some big wins when it matters.

He won’t be riding unfortunately. But I’ll be there to cheer them on anyway.

That was a competent ride for sure, he did the same at Sheffield the other season beat Ben Cook I think it was a great ride to hold him off. He is developing well. If itsa. call as to which one to have next season I wouldn't want to make it as I like and rate both of them as decent prospects

Despite Rew guesting i which is better than R/R - I feel Witches are weaker without Adam!

Will Adam be out of hospital to be able to watch?
