Doesn't he ride for Oxford? Isnt he only guesting.

"New signing Edward Kennett – a 28-day replacement for Erik Riss – makes his debut for Cheetahs. Kennett brings a wealth of experience to Cheetahs – the 39-year-old twice finished second in the British Final, while he was British Under-21 Champion in both 2005 and 2007."

This was from the 2nd of June so 28 days would have been the last day of June. I'm honestly not sure whether he has signed another 28-day replacement contract (which would expire on the 28th of July) or whether he is just guesting now for Oxford until the situation with Riss becomes fully known.

Question, has everybody been unable to access this forum for the last four days or so? Or was it just me.

I couldn't get on either, they have started a new one, so not sure what is going on with this one

My guess is the club will re-look at things In August, when maybe some teams in Europe aren’t making playoffs etc and riders may be looking at more fixtures and money in August, September and October.

They will certainly have plenty of meetings left to do that...

Good planning on their part...

If you want a run of fixtures close together, it is best to do it as the season ends, as the fan attendance momentum you build then lasts into the play offs...

Ending your racing around the end of July/early August, even if you qualify for the play offs, will lose momentum with the fans...

"See you in a month for the play offs" isn't a marketing person's dream..
