mikebv
Very shrewd signing .. If nothing else, he will get some interest generated and bring more in to watch... USA riders now a rarity so plenty of marketing opportunities locally to create some good publicity, as there is a definite "angle" to work... And, if it works out, a potential long term investment... I would say "typical Poole" but some might smash down their phones, tablets or laptops..

Glasgow have said they cannot replace Kyle Howarth or the German lad (although they might want to) and both clubs have raced 11 Championship matches plus their BSN rounds............. Guests all the way now! According to the SS last Thursday, Poole's 75% of fixtures was up at Berwick on Saturday. BUT just because the club only announced the signing today doesn't mean the deal/contract wasn't done last week. In fact MF heavily hinted it at the home meeting last Wednesday v Edinburgh. Pirates Of Poole
Maybe Eddie can come in to cover Kyle depending how long he is out the saddle for?

He will be impressed by the size of the crowd, I imagine he could put a few on the gate as a young, promising, american speedway rider is a rare thing. Hard to plan long term investments these days, before considering the points limit or all the best riders going to Poland.

But a signing like this, later in the season, will always give some fresh impetus to a club, which can only be a positive when attracting people into the stadium.. Especially one that could have a few "dead rubbers" as they are pretty much nailed on for the play offs...
Magicmike
Credit where credit is due fair play to Poole I’m far from a Poole fan but when you have legends in Hancock giving you pointers you can’t go wrong Poole will win the league now and it’s up to the rest of us to up our games, there obviously a club people want to ride for good luck to them they haven’t done anything wrong 1

Well if Poole have done this in 2 individual signings there’s a possibility that Kennett can come in for Newman depending how long Newman is out for,but where Kennett hasn’t got a team now he can’t guest am I correct? And, yes, Ed Kennett can't guest if he doesn't have a team place. Edited 6 hours ago by lucifer sam

As it stands Poole have named Newman as back on Friday at Armadale obviously that can change but the team received from Poole has Kyle in it

And no such thing as “investment” anymore with the demise of the asset system. Everything is very short-termism with riders and clubs these days

Hmmm so if it was declared Saturday how did they have a guest for Bowes on Saturday
