Going to miss Danny King that’s for sure and even more so Wright could be out for months. Other than the class of King and one good ride from Scott it was a poor meeting on a slick, gaters paradise of a track.
still early days and that was a strong Diamonds side , hopefully King will get lots of guest bookings 😉

I would imagine Danny will get a few guest bookings for Charles.

Feel really sorry for Charles. The most àĺarmin̈g thing about ton̈ìgĥt was n̈ot the poor pèrformàn̈çe, of some of  the team, but the state of the track?

The track could have been poor due to a very very wet winter and not being able to get on the track prior to a couple of days before the meeting. I live on the outskirts of Workington, just dug me garden over and the soil is the wettest I've known in over 30 years 😧. Always dig over late teens of march.

Do you keep a chart? 📈

How many points where Newcastle over the points limit if it had been a league match rather than the Tyne-Tees trophy?

If that Newcastle was signed to ride in the championship this year with relevant reductions etc I make it about 2.6 points over

Do they get a facility for him, with him not having ridden in an official match?

Not sure of the rules on this.

Yes. They will, especially as he is already an established Redcar rider from last season, and a few before that. As opposed to someone who they had just signed from somewhere else. Initially the facility will be for 28 days, but I wouldn't see a problem with that being extended if necessary.

Rules say...

A Reduced facility (No Facility in British Development) only, is permitted to replace a rider, who although included in a re-declaration has not made an appearance for that team since being re-declared.

however there is another rule that says....

A team may utilise a facility to cover the absence of a rider(s) who has been approved in a teams declared 1-7 at the start of the season but due to extenuating circumstances is not available, a facility may be granted, up to a maximum of 28 days, at the SCB Co-Ordinators discretion.

So I guess changes maybe on the cards for Redcar.

Shame about Charles getting injured last night, but not the first & wont be the last unfortunately to have it happen. Short & long term replacements are going to be hard to find I think. Drew Kemp & Nikolai Klindt spring to mind, or a fresh foreign signing in the hope he comes good very quickly. Oh the joys of promotion/management🙈

Kemp riding for dagulas ? In Poland apparently it's a pain to get to for home meeting so opted out of championship, think klindt has a polish lower level team so lots of fixtures clashes think Plymouth last year
