Once a Bandit, always a Bandit! Except Charlie Gjedde, of course. Except on Friday when he`s a Monarch.

(Sorry if it's a silly question - I'm new here lol 😂) Fair question, but a rider can guest in any league if (a) he's in a 1-7 in any of our three leagues, and (b) his average is lower than the rider he's covering for

Drew's final CMA for Bandits in 2025 was 8.08 This year at Leicester he is currently on 4.72 (converts to 7.08 for CL) As PK is currently on 7.86 (which converts to 8.25 for home meeting guests) I'm thinking Drew has to be at his '25 average. That's why he can't be Berwick's guest at Scunny on Friday (Edinburgh's gain!) but can guest for Bandits on Saturday. I think. Alternative scenarios welcomed!

I know the Scunthorpe fans have been asking for him lol, but I have a feeling he said he wanted to give Championship a miss this year to prioritise his Polish (Latvian) team? Interesting either way, nice to see him back racing at Berwick for sure.
Popular Post screm
Update on former Berwick rider Connor Coles posted on social media today. Lovely news from Kirsty Coles about Connor A little update on Connor Connor has now been transferred from Stoke to Derby and has officially started neurological rehabilitation in a specialist centre. Although there is still a long recovery journey ahead, this week has brought some really positive steps forward. Connor is becoming much more aware and engaged, communicating more, remembering conversations and slowly getting more like himself each day. He is now eating food orally again with thickened drinks, has started rehab exercises including the exercise bike, and is walking short distances with support and a frame. Seeing these small milestones after everything he has been through has meant so much to us all. There are still many challenges ahead with speech, swallowing, fatigue and weakness down his left side, and recovery will take time, but we finally feel like Connor is taking important steps in the right direction. Thank you again to everyone for all the continued love, support, messages and kindness shown to Connor and our family 16

But a very good individual rider who will get better and better I don't agree with the first part, he can be a very good team rider. Having said that, proper team riding is nowhere near as common as it used to be. Edited 8 hours ago by BrizHeathen

They are quite right to decline after the last 2 Saturday debacles, thought there would have been a Monday debrief on the website about changing the weather apps they use 😂😂😂

I’m not sure that even Mr Dodds with his wealth of knowledge and years of experience can put a positive angle on the last two weeks.

Fully agree with this and I do hope he makes a full recovery. I’m sure like several on here made a donation on the go fund me site and I guess the SRBF has helped like they always do. A benefit meeting would be nice to see and be put into place once Connor can be at trackside to watch. All the best to him and his family. Always in our thoughts.
