I mean if they moved Friday's to Saturday, would they automatically move Saturday's to Sunday, or just go straight for the 2 in 1 day? Anything in the rules? Or is it a make it up as you go along thing?

Sure they would rather not do 2 in a day but officials, riders and fans travel, hotels would surely come into any discussions along with a detailed weather forecast. Iggy Posted yesterday at 10:13 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:13 AM Is there a schedule of events for the days of the Grand Prix? Didn't go last year but have been to Cardiff plenty of times so just wondered if they do the Fanzone or anything similar?

Hopefully the fanzone will be better this year with more outlets for food , drink merchandise etc Last years fanzine was poor to say the least.

Belle Vue have said the Fan Zone is on both days and will i suspect open for several hours before the turnstiles open. I also know they have emailed Friday ticket holders to let them know they can attend Friday’s qualifying and Sprint race(2 pm start). They have to apply for a free ticket. Does anyone know what the contingency plans are if one or both are rained off? Race on Sunday or even Monday? Travelling up from the South-mEast so want to assess Plan B options! Met office now has it dry both Friday and Saturday.

ouch Posted yesterday at 04:53 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:53 PM I’d recommend the Longsite Sports & Social club down the road. There’s a collectors fare on and Lynn & Co will ply you with cheap booze. Plenty of banter with our Polish friends as well plus lots of speedway memorabilia to idle the time away with (mostly Aces based).
False dawn Posted yesterday at 05:38 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:38 PM Be aware.... If you want to see practice and the sprint race on Friday you'll need a free ticket: https://mpv.tickets.com/schedule/?agency=BVMS_MPV&orgid=53193#/sales_groups;salesGroupType=ACCOUNT_PROTECTED Also..... Practice starts at 2:00 p.m. but the parking at St Peter's school does not open till 4:30 p.m. I queried this with BV and they recommend the park and ride. They did offer to refund my St Peter's booking.
